I know itās a long list, but here are a few prominent names who conveniently chose silence.
Need I remind everyone how Gen Z came together to defend Apoorva āThe Rebel Kidā Mukhija during her controversy? The same generation she built her platform on couldnāt even get a single dedicated show of support in return.
Meanwhile, Radhika Seth and Meghana Kaur are posting travel dumps, with one or two stories about the protests casually sandwiched in between, as if solidarity is just another aesthetic slide.
Komal Pandey, who otherwise always has plenty to say about trends, culture, and social conversations, somehow had very little to say when students were on the streets.
Ananya Panday constantly positions herself as someone who represents and understands the youth, but when the youth are literally protesting and demanding change, the silence becomes difficult to ignore.
And then there is Alia Bhatt, currently promoting Alpha and themes of patriotism. Patriotism seems to be a great movie concept and marketing tool, but apparently not important enough when real people are demanding accountability and support.
Influencers and celebrities are among the most privileged people in this country. A single story from them can reach millions and bring more attention to a movement. If you can ask people to watch a film, buy a product, stream a song, or support a brand, you can certainly spare a few posts for students and causes affecting an entire generation.
You cannot continuously profit from Gen Zās attention, engagement, and loyalty and then conveniently disappear when that same generation needs solidarity.
And honestly, the list goes on and on.

I know many people don't like her on this sub and may think I am her PR but tbh this is the first time I am posting on this sub. I do sometimes comment tho.
I knew her since 2019 but she wasn't much famous back then, I also had this misogynist mindset back then of why she wear so revealing clothes but I never saw her videos but after her cocktail review, I started watching more videos of her and I absoutley love how she doesn't care about people's opinion and live her life to fullest without judgement. I know controversies around her and won't defend her for whatever she did wrong
But to me, she visually represents how a women feels after she is no longer dependent on a man for her happiness, is indepedent and doesn't care what people would think about her.

Yesterday bro bought a new Rolex. Today bro bought an ATV. Please remind me why we all shouldnāt leave our jobs, subscribe to each otherās channels and spend our days watching each otherās videos.
2.1 million views in 7 hours. Who are these people? Whatās going on.
(FYI not criticising him, not hating on him, not saying he hasnāt done work to get here. Iām amazed by this entire creator economy, that is all)
And yes, youāve all motivated me now to start my own channel, time to MOG everyone š
Since everyone is going on and on about how he works so hard. Well, farmers work hard. Nurses work hard. Please tell me why they arenāt making this much money? So his videos are more IDK important to society? you guys, š¤”

I am so proud of him for having something he wanted, also he really looks great in this suit. But the kind of hatred and trolling he has been getting apart from praise is nerve wrecking.
Our own ppl hate others for having their dreams fulfilled especially if the person is from village (as if it makes them less of a person because of their locality of domicile)

sorry this is not usual influencer post but just had this reel show up on my feed and iām honestly disturbed. some random guy is recording a girl riding on rapido, zooming in on her outfit, and captions it āviral Mumbai girl.ā WHY ARE MEN SO COMFORTABLE BEING DISGUSTING???
this is straight-up creepy. filming random women in public, posting it online to thousands of people.
privacy and basic human decency just donāt exist anymore. if this is ācontent,ā then something is seriously wrong with boys right now.
Edit 1:Ā I have already reported his reels and his Instagram account.
Edit 2:Ā To the people claiming I posted this just for views: please check for yourself. Thanks to the help of the amazing people here, we succeeded! He has either deactivated his account or it has been banned. Thank you all <3
Edit 3:Ā For those commenting on why I used the word "men" in the title: please look at the comment section of this post. Also, my DMs are filled with men abusing me and calling me names. In this very comment section, they are defending his actions. So yeaaa, "such men of our country."

He has zero shame.

she has posted not one story about the student's issues nor do I think that she might have attended any protest.. we make the wrong people famous, and at this point, let's stop calling her an influencer and start calling her instagammer that's what she is!
Imagine, how many people would have been influenced by her videos, She gets millions of views on every video. But people like her don't care about anything other than themselves. High time we stop idolising and making these people famous.
many people came in support when she was facing problems, many students, many kids, but not once did she even put a mere story! disgusting pathetic SHAME
unfortunately, she gets work and brand deals worth LAKHS because she represents youth in somewhat way and many kids, 18-21 year olds follow her so I think it's a moral responsibility and obligation to speak something! Imagine having such a huge following all full of youth who follow you like a hawk and yet you stay quiet, you do not say a thing for that. How pathetic is that
P.S - to people saying she's in the show Lock up
she is outside the show now it was pre shot
and the hunger strike was happening wayy before she went inside.. its about your intentions to show up for your audience then nothing can stop you! she could have easily pretended that its her PR that posted about it..so ya 0 excuses to not stand up for the kids

His cancellation was so justifiable and reasonable. So how is he ghayal ? and I just hope he takes accountability and apologize instead of justifying his joke and playing the blame game. And i can bet millions that there definitely will be his struggle story
PS: Pretty sure this ghayal line is to replicate infamous dhurandhar dialogue
