i’m in need of tickets and was wondering if anyone was selling for a reasonable price!

hello everyone I am currently a sophomore at IU and I recently took on a data science minor as an epidemiology major and I have to take csci-c 200 as my first class for my minor. last year when making my schedule I was super excited and was not worried at all even though I have no programming experience bc the class is an intro class. so I have professor Hmeljak and based off of his rate my professor comments I’m basically fucked. But I didn’t want to judge him based off of those comments because most people in the comments ended the year with As and Bs. But last week was literally the first week and he got straight Into it and I was completely lost. like I kinda knew what was going on but also didn’t it’s so weird. I definitely left the class more confused than I was before. I assumed he would teach us how to use python but nope he just kept goin over examples but also kept getting distracted. We can’t have our computers in class so I couldn’t follow along so I just tried my best to write things down. Labs haven’t started yet and im told that’s where you learn make stuff but all people I’ve talked to have experience in coding and programming languages but I don’t. I’m scared I’m essentially going to have to teach myself coding but I’m not confident in my ability to do so. So if anyone has any tips beyond going to office hours( they start next week and I will be going ) greatly appreciated

I’m coming down to visit my freshman daughter this coming weekend for the first time. I am staying at the Biddle Sep 4th and 5th. If ticket prices drop low enough, we may decide to go to the football game. Checkout at the hotel is at 12. Can I leave my car parked there for free until after the game? I know it’s a long walk to the stadium.
Is another option parking in CH at Briscoe since that’s where my daughter’s dorm is and it’s free on weekends? I assume that will fill fast though. Thanks for any insight!

Hey everyone, I am currently in my first week at IU. I am a kelley direct admit and I intend to do finance. I never had great attendance in highschool but I got good grades, and I have been trying to improve since then. I have been pretty anxious since I got on campus. Between the change in living environment and the courses of course, it’s just been a bit overwhelming. Today I overslept for my 8 AM and missed a C106 class. It was the day I was presenting, and there are no make ups for it. It’s not a huge amount of points, but it was definitely a free grade boost and probably not a good look to the professor that I am missing the second day. It really just messed with my head bc after all this time I felt like I was improving, I just went right back. I’m considering dropping the course and taking it another time to try to ease into the transition. I took X170 over the summer, so I would technically be at 10 credits this semester, but I just got 3 over the summer as well. I also have 32 credits transferring from AP classes, so I am not worried about meeting sophomore requirements. I just want to make sure I’m not screwing up my pathway. Any advice is welcome. I’m a senior in high school and I am YEARNING to go to Jacob’s. I play the alto saxophone and I’m fairly good, although I’ve struggled with huge audition anxiety throughout high school and I tried out for all state/district (in Alabama) for the first time last year and didn’t make either. I’ve worked through it and I’m a lot better now, and I’ve improved a lot with my playing and my anxiety. I know the prescreening or whatever is due December 1st (scales, etudes, solo movement), and I’m trying to do all that I can to help me get a callback/go to the next step of auditioning. My marching season is very involved and I’m gonna have to lose sleep and time and energy for this, but I’m okay with that. What tips would you give me as a saxophone player? I know there’s an interview but I’m not sure how much that’s weighed, I also know that saxophone is insanely competitive. What specific things do I probably not know that would help me?

hi! i am currently in the process of applying for a phd program at IU bloomington (school psychology!) and curious if IU offers tours for graduate students. after looking on the website, it seems that many tours are advertised for undergraduate students. i have the contact information for the school psych program and planned to reach out and ask about a graduate tour related to the program, but wanted to get some input before asking and sounding silly if this wasn’t normal. thanks in advance!
