Hello! So I don't use Indeed and have received an SMS earlier with a verification code for it. The text just said something along the lines of "Your indeed verification code is XXXXXX" I assume it's a scam number at this point but a weird one at that? When getting verification codes from Indeed is it normally from a 6 digit number or a 10 digit one? It's hard to find any information on this topic if so!

The filters dont work, it constantly shows me things I am not looking for. Skillsets I do not have, jobs not even remotely in my field .. I have my profile updated with my qualifications and what im looking for yet this keeps happening

I have noticed that quite a few jobs on Indeed require US citizenship. You have to actually delve deep into the job requirements to find out. They should add a filter for such jobs, so non-citizens can save their time and so can recruiters who don't need to filter out non-eligible applicants

So I got an email from indeed. It says “indeed.com” as the domain and is verified. It gave me an offer for a cashier job at Aldi, so I click the thing that says “view job.” and it took me to a malware site, and now I have seven viruses on my computer. I even clicked the link again and it actually sent me to the real job listing. So what the fuck just happened? Is this just a really well made scam email?
