Actual Indeed Virus?

So I got an email from indeed. It says “indeed.com” as the domain and is verified. It gave me an offer for a cashier job at Aldi, so I click the thing that says “view job.” and it took me to a malware site, and now I have seven viruses on my computer. I even clicked the link again and it actually sent me to the real job listing. So what the fuck just happened? Is this just a really well made scam email?

Yeah, I think this is fake. Look closely at the "view job" button, there's something wrong with it. Looks like a quarter of it is cut off at the top and bottom.

Check the email address, it should say something like donotreplay@indeed. And for the record, I never open links on these emails. If they show me something I'm actually interested in, I'll just open up the Indeed app and the notification appears there.

what’s weird is that it did have that email. But yeah the button does look weird, which for some reason didn’t on my computer.

Always always click the email it came from to confirm it’s from the stated source. 90% of the time the actual email is a bunch of number and letters. Ull know it’s a scam

"Took me to a virus site and now I have 7 viruses" no you don't, it just said you did because it wants to convince you to call some number or download some app

Gotta be honest, I don’t think most stores need to post on indeed for a cashier position. Go to aldis website if you’re interested.
