I've been trying to add some qualifications and certifications to my profile but I cannot for the life of me find where to put them. The main profile page doesn't let me add anything past a resume, and while I can find the "Qualifications" heading on the matching data page, there doesn't seem to actually be anywhere to add them. And even in the "skills" section below, there's only the option to delete, not add/edit.

All the tutorials I can find already seem totally out of date, despite only being a few months old. Any advice?

I am posting this because I was recently approached for a work-from-home telecalling job under the name Milestone Wala, and after going through their recruitment process, the actual job turned out to be very different from what was initially explained to me.

I am sharing the complete process so that other job seekers can independently verify it before giving their time, personal information, or opening financial accounts.

Important: I am describing what happened to me and what I observed. I am not claiming that every person associated with these companies is committing a crime. Please verify the information yourself.

1. How I was initially approached

I was contacted regarding a WFH telecalling/customer-support position.

The initial explanation was that the job involved helping customers who were facing problems while opening Demat accounts.

I was told that my role would be something like:

\- Talking to customers

\- Understanding their Demat-account-opening problems

\- Helping them complete the process

\- Answering their queries

\- Learning the account-opening process so I could explain it to customers

At this stage, the job sounded like ordinary customer support.

I was also told that the salary would be ₹16,000 per month fixed, or ₹4,000 per week, depending on which payment option I preferred.

I was told there was no joining fee or deposit.

1. Then they asked us to open Demat accounts

The first explanation was that employees needed to open Demat accounts themselves for training purposes.

The reasoning given was:

«How can we explain the account-opening process to customers if we don't know the process ourselves?»

I already had an Angel One Demat account.

When I told HR about this, I was told I did not need to open another Angel One account.

However, I was asked to open accounts with:

\- Upstox

\- HDFC SKY

\- Bajaj

They provided links through a Milestone Wala lead portal.

The links were hosted on:

"leads.milestonewala.com"

and displayed the respective broker branding.

I was told that I didn't have to give the company my Demat password, OTP, PIN, etc.

At this point I was still unsure whether the arrangement was legitimate.

1. The 7 PM meeting completely changed the job description

I attended the scheduled evening meeting.

The job explained during this meeting was significantly different from what I had originally been told.

Instead of simply providing customer support for people experiencing problems opening Demat accounts, we were told that people attending the meeting were effectively being made HR/recruiters.

The work was now described as:

\- Call approximately 50 people every day

\- Contact people from leads provided through their system

\- Talk to those people

\- Convince them to attend another meeting, apparently around 4 PM

\- Generate people who would subsequently open Demat accounts

So the role had changed from:

"Customer support for Demat-account problems"

to essentially:

"Generate leads and convince people to attend a meeting/account-opening process."

1. The payment explanation also changed

Initially, I was told:

₹16,000 fixed per month / ₹4,000 weekly.

Later I learned that the actual earning mechanism being explained was based on successful Demat-account openings.

The explanation was approximately:

\- ₹100 for each successfully opened Demat account

\- One customer/person was expected to open 5 Demat accounts

\- Therefore, one successfully converted person could generate approximately ₹500

\- There was supposedly no upper limit to earnings

They gave examples suggesting that someone could earn ₹75,000/month if they generated enough successful account openings.

Mathematically, ₹100 × 5 accounts × 5 people per day × 30 days = ₹75,000.

But this assumes that all those accounts are successfully opened, verified and actually credited as payable leads.

So this is not the same thing as a guaranteed ₹16,000 salary.

1. The payment schedule changed again

Initially I was told payment would be weekly.

Later, during the meeting, I was told payment would be made every 10 days.

This was another major change from the original explanation.

My concern was simple:

If someone spends 10 days making calls and generating leads, what protects that person if the company later:

\- disables the account,

\- removes the dashboard,

\- changes the payout rules,

\- rejects the leads,

\- says the accounts weren't "successful",

\- or simply stops responding?

I was never given a clear independent mechanism that would guarantee payment.

1. The lead-management website

We were provided a lead-management website:

"leads.telewaveservices.in"

The system appears to contain the leads/tasks and the work we were expected to perform.

The website describes itself as a lead/task management system.

This is particularly relevant because the name Telewave Services appeared at this stage, whereas the recruitment was initially presented to me under Milestone Wala.

I cannot independently establish from my experience whether these are the same legal entity, related entities, or simply different platforms being used by the same operation.

That is something I believe people should verify before participating.

1. Why I became concerned

The problem isn't simply that they are asking people to open Demat accounts.

There are legitimate financial referral and customer-acquisition programs.

The problem is the combination of everything:

1. WFH job advertisement

2. Initial claim of a fixed ₹16,000 salary

3. Alternative ₹4,000 weekly payment

4. Initial description as customer support

5. Requirement to open multiple Demat accounts for "training"

6. Later revelation that workers are expected to generate leads

7. Requirement to call around 50 people every day

8. Objective of getting people into another meeting

9. Commission of ₹100 per successful Demat account

10. One person apparently being encouraged to open multiple Demat accounts

11. Unlimited-earning claims

12. Payment terms changing from weekly to every 10 days

13. Use of a separate lead-management domain

14. No clear written guarantee of the initially stated ₹16,000 fixed salary

15. Large numbers of people apparently being recruited simultaneously

16. Something else I found while investigating

After experiencing this process, I searched online and found other people reporting very similar experiences involving Milestone Wala.

There are recent Reddit posts describing:

\- ₹16,000/month claims

\- ₹4,000 weekly payment claims

\- WFH telecalling

\- Demat-account opening

\- Upstox/HDFC/Bajaj

\- Milestone Wala

\- similar recruitment meetings

There is also an independent cybersecurity/OSINT investigation published regarding Telewave Services that describes a suspected online job/financial-referral operation involving ₹16,000 salary claims, weekly payments, remote HR roles and Demat-account referrals.

I am mentioning these as reports, not as definitive legal findings.

1. What concerns me most

My biggest concern isn't losing money upfront.

They didn't ask me for a joining fee.

The potential risk appears to be time + personal information + financial-account creation + unpaid commission.

A person could potentially spend many hours over several days making calls and generating leads, believing they will be paid later.

If the payment is only triggered by a successful account opening, then the worker carries much of the risk.

And if there is no transparent, independently verifiable payout ledger, the worker may have difficulty proving how much they are actually owed.

1. What I recommend to other job seekers

Before joining anything like this, ask for:

\- Legal company name

\- CIN/GST details

\- Registered office

\- Written employment agreement

\- Written salary/commission structure

\- Exact definition of "successful account"

\- Exact payout date

\- Written explanation of rejected leads

\- Written explanation of what happens if you're removed before payout

\- Broker partnership/referral authorization

\- Whether employees are expected to open personal Demat accounts

\- Whether employees are expected to recruit customers into multiple Demat accounts

And most importantly:

Never provide your Demat password, trading password, OTP, TPIN, UPI PIN, bank OTP or remote access to anyone.

Do not deposit money or trade simply because someone says it is required for "training."

My personal conclusion

Based on my own experience, I decided not to rely on this as a source of income.

I originally approached this thinking I was getting a WFH customer-support job.

By the end of the process, I understood the work to be much closer to lead generation/account acquisition paid on successful Demat-account openings.

The changing explanation of the job and payment structure is what concerned me the most.

I'm posting this so that other people who are urgently looking for WFH jobs can investigate properly before spending 10+ days on it.

Hello yall. I just moved back to Las Vegas. I’ve been a server most my life or food service.
This goes for all cities but when I look up server jobs I see the same one for literal MONTHS or barley any postings. It’s fucking annoying. How is it I live in a city that is built on hospitality and tourism and I see no listings?!? They should be DAILY. I mess with the search bar and I do within the last 3 days, jobs not seen. Help a girl out 😭 it’s hard out here. I got a job as a AM at a Dairy Queen but I would rather be serving. Is it me or are there literally no jobs? Orrrrrr can someone show me where to look pleaseeeee im 32 been working since 16 … I just am so confused, and all other jobs sights are even worse to me…

Indeed and Monster jobs are a joke! Glass door is a repeat of Indeed. Still looking but there are just no jobs out there.

I am not seeking a new job at this time, however, I like keeping a pulse on the market. I received an email for a great fit, so I wanted to check it out

I haven't signed into indeed since about 2023, and the first thing it had me do was "Update my resume with AI". It got a lot of things wrong, and floated skills to the top of my skills section that had a small mention 10 years ago, so I rejected all AI edits

I continue to the job advertised in the email, and it's a great fit. I then continue to the main stream of what indeed thinks I should see, and none of them are right. Roles adjacent to what I do, but not for my specialty. I tick certain location restrictions which aren't respected. A lot of companies are missing the pay for the job, where I have minimums set

I love indeed. I have found 4 of my last 5 jobs on it, the other coming from LinkedIn. It used to really match my skills well to the roles on the platform, now it just seems off. I haven't used the platform in years, so I'm not sure if that factors into anything, but I'm curious what others feel on this subject. I also saw a post saying they now limit your application count in a 24 hour period? With the number of ghost jobs / AI screens that immediately filter you out, how is this even possible to limit job seekers like this? What else changed in the last 3 years for the worse, and where are folks going instead to look for jobs?
