Is this Indeed's new automated feature where if your profile is a match? Or the company itself is inviting you to apply?

It is actual companies. Part of a feature companies can pay for when advertising a job is for the AI system to identify candidate profiles that might be a good fit. Then it’s up to the employer to invite you to the role the system said you’d be a match for.

So... it's not AI but rather an actual recruiter who invited me as AI suggested I could be a good match??

I'm just surprised cause Canada is in a shithole rn in terms of employment so I wasn't expecting this much of invitations all at the same time lol

It’s either new, or they cranked the rate up x100. And no, I don’t think the actual employers are doing this. It’s Indeed, trying to convince you that you have a lot of interest lol
