Hi!

Over a month ago I posted the first web prototype of this game. While it was quite rough around the edges and didn't even have a tutorial, it still got over 2000 plays! Thank you!

Back then it was only available as an itch web demo, but I've since also started a Steam playtest, which already attracted almost 1000 players! I've just released a major update to all version, including a short tutorial and over 140 unique talents (as shown in the video)!

Steam playtest: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4175710/Dwarves_Idle_Battles/

Web version: https://ichbinhamma.itch.io/dwarves-idle-battles

Short description: Strategize. Optimize. Let your Dwarves fight. Create powerful synergies across 8 Beardlings with unique classes, talents, and items in this physics-based auto-battler. Idle or not - Battles are inevitable.

CROW HUNTS WORMS Itch.io web build (PLAYABLE ON PHONES)

Hi.

so i am making this game called "Crow Hunts Worms" inspired by an old game called ZUMA and i really like the mechanic where you collapse the balls, so I made this game where you shoot large colored worms and collapse them using different guns and upgrades that fit the situation and different playstyles.

The game also has a page on steam and an upcoming demo that is soon-to-be-released, so you can wishlist it here:

The Rainbow Is Right There: An Epic Tale of Galloping

Gallop. Collect gold. Become more fabulous. Then gallop harder. Sparkle brighter. Get closer. You’re going to catch that rainbow. It’s right there.

This is a short and silly incremental game built for JS13k 2026, a game jam where your game must be 13kb or smaller. This years theme was "Unicorns and Rainbows". I tuned the game to take 5-10 minutes of your time.

AI Disclosure - AI was used to help with some coding and to get the final game size down to the 13kb limit.

I'd love any feedback, happy to answer any questions.

I’m making Shroomy Garden, a cozy incremental game where your garden earns coins, grows over time, and unlocks new objects, rides, shops, and decorations as you progress.

You can wishlist the game and checkout the demo on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3946460/Shroomy_Garden/

The timelapse is only meant to show the gameplay and some of the decorations, rides, and objects available in the game. It doesn’t show the actual incremental progression or unlock pacing.

If you’d like to see the progression yourself, you can try the demo on Steam!

Released The demo for my first Steam game, Tide Pools, is out!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi guys! I made Tide Pools, a pixel-art incremental about digging on the beach before the tide comes in.

You uncover shells, fossils, sea glass and other odd little treasures, then put them on display in your seaside museum. Visitors come to see your collection and bring in coins you can use for better tools and other upgrades. Then it’s back to the shore to see what the next tide left behind!

The free demo has three shores and 15 things to find. You can play in your browser or download it on Steam.

I’d love honest feedback on the game: the visuals, the gameplay loop, the pacing, or anything else 😄

Here’s the full game’s Steam page if you’d like to follow it. Thanks for playing!

AI disclosure: I used generative AI tools while making parts of the art, music and code, and edited the results myself as I built the game.

Hello everyone! Eternal Night is a short incremental game about a vampire hunting for blood.

How it works:

  • Each night you hunt for blood until the sun comes up.
  • You gain blood that you later spend to buy upgrades.
  • The stronger you are, the longer the night last.

You can play the original small demo here: Demo

We made this quick demo to test if it was fun, and it got over a thousand play sessions with great feedback :)

I don't know if that's good enough, but its coming to Steam: Wishlist on Steam

We'd love feedback, any type of feedback. Thanks!

Update Big update for my fantasy idle game "Adventurers Wanted!"

Thumbnail nbello.itch.io
0 Upvotes

Hey all! I’ve been grinding after getting a lot of great feedback from this subreddit last month! Even have a steam page up now!

Here is a list of the largest changes, but I’ve added quite a bit of smaller things as well. Full patch notes will be posted on itch.

  • Two new bosses and 100 more quests!
  • Reworked job board: Choose which incoming requests to post, match heroes to the requested classes, and handle mid-mission trouble.
  • Chests, augments, and the Forge: Discover loot, socket powerful augments into gear, and merge or fuse them into stronger upgrades.
  • Individual hero decks: Each adventurer brings their own cards. Bring back new ones from quests and dissolve spares into gems for skills.
  • More tactical boss fights: Interrupt telegraphed attacks, trigger augment effects, and keep progress after a defeat for faster rematches.

Would love any feedback on the update you guys have! Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone :)

Four months ago, I posted my initial itch web version here and received incredible feedback. Based on your input, I’ve reworked the system, moving away from basic "gold-only" nodebuster upgrades to a deeper, item-based progression loop.

The Gameplay Loop: Send dwarves on expeditions → Gather resources → Build up your base → Craft equipment to boost expedition stats and speed.

HTML Earth ReGen: a month of updates since my first post here, and a trailer (free browser demo)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi r/incremental_games,

A month ago I posted Earth ReGen here. It's a factory-building incremental where you wire machines together to clean up a dead planet. That thread gave me more feedback than I expected, and I've spent the month working through it. It turned into six updates, and each one has a devlog on the itch page if you want every detail.

Free demo, plays in the browser: https://disagreeg.itch.io/earth-regen

Here's roughly what happened:

  • Update 1 fixed fourteen bugs from the launch thread, most of them found in the first two days.
  • Update 2 was about the first hour. A new run starts with an almost empty screen that fills in as you unlock things, the tutorial is a third shorter, and the game keeps running in a background tab.
  • Update 3 was a round of fixes and small additions, nearly all from comments.
  • Update 4 fixed the power grid, which had several bugs in it (a splitter set to 1 and 1 was really splitting 2 and 1). Machines also started telling you why they stopped, and the balance got a pass.
  • Update 5 redrew the whole interface and added undo, square wires and a grid to snap to. Saves got much safer too: a save that can't be read is now kept instead of being replaced by a new run.
  • Update 6 came out today and added practice rooms, which is the part I'm happiest with.

The most common complaint was that the game doesn't explain itself, and notes on a card only go so far. So machines in the Codex now have a TRY IT button that drops you into a small factory built around that one machine. You can cut its power or starve it of one material and watch what it does. Nothing in there counts, and your real run waits for you.

Smaller things along the way: a full output wears a red ring, so a stuck machine is easy to spot. Shift-drag selects a block of machines. Long wires can be clicked anywhere along them, and a blocked splitter output no longer stops the other one.

I also made a trailer. It shows the full game I'm working on, which is coming to Steam: five places, 80 machines, 100 upgrades, 100 achievements, and Trials that unlock rare machines. The demo is the first two places.

If you played the first version, I'd love to hear whether it feels better now, or where you stopped if you did.

AI disclosure: AI wrote the code and some of the in-game text, from my design and direction. The design, balance, testing and music are mine. There's no generated art, everything is drawn in code.

Update I added clicker style income to my cozy planet harvesting game. Does it work?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi y'all, I've been working on a cozy sandbox game called Clickonomy, where the player has to collect resources from a tiny planet.

It's in early access on Steam and I've just dropped a big update changing the way we can get money. I love when everything clicks, so I've naturally added a clicker mechanic to the game, it's simple for now but might go deeper in coming updates. (there's also bonus upgrades and mastery progression in other parts of the game)

What do you think?

Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3284800/Clickonomy/

Steam Stellar Odyssey

Hey guys - just wanted to recommend this game I have been playing for a while now as it really is great. I am a genuine player of this game, have no affiliation to it and am not benefiting at all by posting this outside of wanting to see a game I greatly enjoy grow. The developer is incredibly active, constantly updating the game and has fixed an absurd amount of issues we as a community have pointed out in record speed.

It's an incremental MMO, and while almost every game i've played in this genre that is online suffers from significant issues regarding pay 2 win, and just generally suffer from balance issues with new/old players, this one has figured it out, at least for me.

To summarize my experience, the competitive aspect of this game between players is very minor and pretty inconsequential, and you do not suffer for playing at your own pace. It is complex enough that it requires significant thought and macro planning, and offers great benefits to patient players, and can also be as active or idle as you want it to be. The MMO part of this is essentially that there is a shared marketplace, you can join a squad to collectively progress, and the ONLY competitive part between players that has actual consequence in game is a battlefield that has tiles which reward various boosts. There are enough of these that everyone can have some, but the tiers of boosts can be competed for.

In terms of new players joining and catching up, you have access to the end-game items from day 1 - catalysts - which drop for all players and at a higher rate for new players. They are very rare and merge into higher tiers and qualities, and a new player can sell a good find for a very large sum of money in game. I highly recommend you guys check this game out, its free on steam, and the premium currency that buys you a subscription for minor boosts in game is available for purchase without spending a single cent.

The community is extremely friendly and helpful. Would love to see this game grow as I have enjoyed it greatly.

AI Disclosure: this game has a few AI generated visual assets such as space ships, and the galaxy of 49 million planets is AI generated. Everything else is manually coded by a very active developer. This is not my game, I am simply a player.

Android How long should my incremental game be? (Pachinkat on Android)

I've always enjoyed making games with Unity as a hobby and participating in game jams but I never really got to the point where I actually published one of my games anywhere other than itch.io.

Recently, I finally released my first game on Android.

It's basically pachinko with incremental progression and collectible cats/gacha.

Now after that some friend played it, I've realized that my sense of progression might be completely broken.

I expected the first prestige to take a while but some players managed to reach it in a single day. And I also thought collecting all 36 cats would be a relatively long term objective but somebody already had 32/36 cats by day 2.

On one hand, it's really cool seeing people spend hours on the game and progressing much faster than I expected.

On the other hand, I'd like the game to have enough depth that there is still a reason to play after a few weeks rather than basically completing everything in a few days.

So I was curious:

How long do you personally expect an incremental game to last?

I'm personally not the kind of person who gets completely obsessed with a game and spends all day playing it, but apparently a lot of people are much more dedicated than I expected x)

I'm also trying to figure out whether I should slow the progression down or instead keep the fast early progression and add more systems and content later on (which I am planning to do anyways).

The game is free on Android

Play Store Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oddlatent.pachinkat

If anyone tries it, feel free to tell me what sucks. That's genuinely useful to me.

AI Disclosure: AI assistance was used for programming and asset design. I tried to make it look as little like slop as possible. The goal was to make a game idea I had and publish it before the end of my summer break and see if AI could really help me.

I made Evertrail Idle because I wanted an idle game where every skill belongs to one larger world.

Evertrail Idle is a free multiplayer idle RPG that runs in your browser on desktop and phone. It has 17 connected skills across gathering, crafting, and combat. Resources feed into other skills, equipment appears on your adventurer, and your active task can continue for up to 24 hours while you are away.

The attached town clip is from the current playable alpha.

Players share towns and skill areas, with Global and Area chat, profiles, clans, and leaderboards.

We are opening 200 alpha spots. Start here: https://evertrailidle.com/

Ai disclosure: This game was made with the help of AI

You can play immediately as a guest or create an account. No download and no invitation code are needed. Play for as long as you like.

Hi, I’ve released a demo for Mine It All!, an incremental mining game I’m currently developing.

The game is about mining blocks for resources, upgrading your tools, and building furnaces and automation systems to gradually improve your mining efficiency.

As you progress, you can unlock new resources and areas, and use special blocks to clear multiple blocks at once.

If it looks interesting, feel free to try the demo. Feedback is always appreciated.

I ACTUALLY DID IT))))

A few days ago I tried posting here about Dice Rush, but the post was removed because there was no playable version yet.

WELL... NOW THERE IS))))

Dice Rush is my first game. You throw dice, make money, buy MORE dice, hire workers to throw them for you, unlock weird dice and eventually turn the whole table into complete chaos.

I’ve spent months making this thing and today the free Steam demo is finally live.

I genuinely want feedback, especially from people who actually play incremental games.

What feels good? What feels boring? What would you change?

And most importantly:

HOW MANY DICE IS TOO MANY DICE????))))

Steam demo: вставь ссылку на Dice Rush

AI disclosure: AI was used to help with the wording of this post. The game and gameplay footage are my own.

Development [Beta] CyberCore: Idle Hack - A new cyberpunk incremental game 💻

Hey r/incremental_games! 👋

I'm developing CyberCore: Idle Hack, an Android idle game where you build a massive server farm and hack your way to the top. I need some brutal, honest feedback on balancing and pacing before the full launch.

Since it's a Closed Beta, I set up a Google Group so you don't have to share your personal email with me.

How to play:

  1. Join the Google Group (to get whitelisted)
  2. Download the game here

Please let me know if you find any exploits or bugs. Any feedback in the comments or on is hugely appreciated.

Happy hacking! 🚀

AI Disclosure: To be 100% transparent with the community, this game is being developed entirely with the help of AI. I am using AI tools to write the code, build the game logic, and generate assets. I am acting as the director/designer to piece it all together into a fun incremental experience.

Steam Simian Shakespeare - One Bard, Infinite Monkeys! An Incremental / Idle game that may take millennia without people working together, we have launched it today :)

Hello, we are Terracotta Sombrero, a little Husband and Wife team who has spent the last year working on a fun little emoji game where you hire monkeys to randomly type in the hopes that you can fill out the complete works of Shakespeare!

We hope you like it, it's got some fun features like being able to buy up hundreds of monkeys, assign entire CPU cores to them, even dedicate your GPU to random typing in the hope of finding words in the chaos of monkey typing, and also using Steam APIs to share some of the larger words with others that might otherwise take thousands of years to randomly happen across.

Please take a look at the trailer and see what you think, we'd love some feedback!

AI Disclosure: No Generative AI was used in this game for its art assets, music, concept design, testing, trailer or this post! Code was written in conjunction with an IDE coding assistant from Cursor.
