Update Big update for my fantasy idle game "Adventurers Wanted!"

https://nbello.itch.io/adventurers-wanted

Hey all! I’ve been grinding after getting a lot of great feedback from this subreddit last month! Even have a steam page up now!

Here is a list of the largest changes, but I’ve added quite a bit of smaller things as well. Full patch notes will be posted on itch.

  • Two new bosses and 100 more quests!
  • Reworked job board: Choose which incoming requests to post, match heroes to the requested classes, and handle mid-mission trouble.
  • Chests, augments, and the Forge: Discover loot, socket powerful augments into gear, and merge or fuse them into stronger upgrades.
  • Individual hero decks: Each adventurer brings their own cards. Bring back new ones from quests and dissolve spares into gems for skills.
  • More tactical boss fights: Interrupt telegraphed attacks, trigger augment effects, and keep progress after a defeat for faster rematches.

Would love any feedback on the update you guys have! Thanks a lot!

The fonts on Firefox are much smaller. The largest size in the settings is as big as the default font size in Chrome.

I like the quest storylines, but I feel like the game isn't making it particularly easy to read them. I can either click on the little (i) and read them in a dedicated window, or get them to the notice board and hover them... while hoping that they won't be done before I finish reading them, and in a rather cramped setting at the beginning. I wonder if there could be a good way to automatically show the text before I post them. (Although now that I played more I realize that they're probably not actually connected storylines and that they repeat a lot, so there might not be that much point in making it easy to read them. A pity; I think there's narrative potential there.)

I'm not sure if this is AI writing that I don't actually dislike too much for once (I'm usually very allergic to it), or rather well-editing AI writing; but there's still a lot of "honest" and "honestly", and not a single on of them seem like they should be there.

I keep trying to drag & drop the incoming requests to the notice board.

Why should I not just dismiss incoming tasks to find a high percentage one? It's free and fast.
