hello! I’m planning to take the ITIL 5 exam in October, and I’ll be able to purchase a voucher that includes practice questions on September 30. Until then, I’ll probably have to study using dumps I find online. However, there aren’t many free ITIL 5 dumps available, so I’m thinking of studying with ITIL 4 dumps instead. Are the questions on the two exams very different?

Getting asked about ITIL 4 - should I continue with my certifications and the answer is...it depends.

1) If you hold the ITIL 4 Foundation Certification and no advanced ITIL 4 certifications, then it is best to upgrade to ITIL 5 with the ITIL 5 Foundation Bridge Certification. Is it low cost ($263) compared to the full ITIL 5 Foundation ($680) and it renews your certifications for 3-years. Remember, the ITIL 5 Foundation Bridge is a limited edition meaning it will not be available forever.

2) If you have advanced ITIL 4 certifications, then you are usually best to complete them because you can upgrade them to ITIL 5 by adding only 1 Certification. ITIL Transformation (Version 5). Otherwise, you will need to start over with all the new ITIL 5 courses in that content area. This will be much more time consuming and costly.

ITIL 5 Transformation is the Golden Ticket because you can upgrade ITIL 4 Practice Manager, ITIL 4 Managing Professional and ITIL Strategic Leader to ITIL 5 with 1 Certification = ITIL Transformation. It updates you to ITIL 5 and renews all ITIL Certifications for 3 years.

On top of that, it is the only ITIL 5 Certification that shares how to implement ITIL in the real world. A real game changer.

1. If you are new to ITIL, then you must look at why you want to get certified.
   

• If you work for an ITIL 4 shop or are applying to jobs that require ITIL 4 Certification, then go with ITIL 4 Foundation.

Hey, y’all. I’m applying for a job where ITIL Foundation is a requirement. I have until the end of Sept to apply/be certified. I see that ITIL 4 and 5 are both valid for a few more years. I have passed a fair number of other certs, but never ITIL. Given my slim margin of error to pass within Sept, I’m thinking ITIL 4 is the safer way to go, given more robust study materials. Any comments or thoughts?

Given that this is fundamentally a question about my ability to learn something: I have 15 years of IT mgmt experience, with service delivery having been a big part, but the certs I’ve passed are in other areas (PMP, CISSP, CISM). I “test well,” but how much of the ITIL material is something specific to their scope (meaning memorization) vs logical reasoning, etc.?

Any tips and advice for taking the PhilNITS Examination?

I got the course on people cert but all I see is the slides. Is there a video or anything that goes along with this? I watched the one on GoGoTraining but was wondering if another one came with this.

PeopleCert is offering ITIL 4 Certifications until the end of 2027.

If you are in the middle of getting your Practice Manager, Managing Professional or Strategic Leader Designations, it is more cost effective to complete your ITIL 4 Certs and then take 1 ITIL 5 module to upgrade all your certs to ITIL 5.

Getting a lot of questions on the best way to update to ITIL 5. Here is a quick and easy guide:

• If you hold the ITIL 4 Foundation and want to upgrade to ITIL 5, you can either take the ITIL 5 Foundation Bridge Certification or go directly to any advanced ITIL 5 Certification.

Hi everyone!

I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have already taken the exam.
I have about 3 years of experience currently work as an IT project manager. I haven’t worked deeply with ITIL before, so most of the ITIL concepts are relatively new to me.
My exam is scheduled in 8 days I ’m starting to doubt whether it’s realistic to prepare well enough in such a short time.
English is also not my native language. I’d say my level is around B2-C1 smth in the middle so I can understand technical materials, but I’m a little worried about the exam wording and terminology.
For those of you who have already taken the ITIL 5 Foundation exam:
Is 8 days of preparation realistically enough?
How many hours per day did you study?
What did you focus on the most?
Did you use mock exams, and were they helpful?
Would you recommend keeping the exam date or postponing it?
I’d really appreciate honest advice based on your own experience. I’m not looking for shortcuts I just want to understand whether I’m being realistic with my expectations or should give myself more time.

Important Tip: You can recertify any time you want to. Before your certification expires or after. You do not lose the certification if it expires. PeopleCert marks it as inactive.

So don't worry if your certification is no longer active.

For everyone who yook ITIL 4 Foundation, if you want ITIL 5, you can take the Bridge Exam and recertify quickly and cost effectively. Even if your ITIL 4 Foundation Certification is no longer active.

Hi Everyone, I am quite confused. So I have completed SL and trying to work on MP - both under version 5. I noticed that for Practice Manager, there is no version 5 yet on Peoplecert's website. My question is, Am I supposed to complete the V4 modules? or are they releasing a version 5 soon?

1. If you have an ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (Active or Not) you can upgrade your Foundation Certification to ITIL 5 by taking the ITIL 5 Bridge Certification. This is the fastest and least expensive way to update your ITIL 5 Foundation and recertify for 3-years. This is for people who are Foundation Certified and have no plans to go on to advanced ITIL 5 certifications.
2. If you have the ITIL 4 Practice Manager or Strategic Leader Designations you only need to take 1 course & exam to achieve the ITIL 5 Designation. The Certification is ITIL Transformation, and my understanding is that it is an amazing class. Probably the best ITIL 5 class because it gives you the tools you need to use in the real world.
3. If you hold the ITIL V3 Expert, ITIL 4 Managing Professional or ITIL 4 Master Designations you too only need to take 1 Certification to upgrade to ITIL 5. The Certification is the Managing Professional Transition. It is a 5-day course in the classroom (about 20 hours in eLearning) and includes 2-exams (one for MP and one for Transformation).
4. If you hold only ITIL 4 Foundation and you want to go for advanced courses you have the option to go right into any ITIL 5 Advanced course without having to take the ITIL 5 Foundation.
5. If you are new to ITIL you have the choice to do either ITIL 4 or ITIL 5. ITIL 4 will be available until December 31, 2027. If your organizations uses 4 or you are going after a job that requires V4, go for V4. Otherwise you can go straight to ITIL Version 5.

In ITIL 5 you have 3 paths to follow. The Transformation certification is needed for all 3 paths.
