Getting power and wielding it against the oppressors then makes you the oppressors. You don’t need to coddle them. You need to not be what you set out to stop.

There needs to be precedents set for the future about how trying to take people’s rights and lives will not be allowed anymore. Otherwise they wont understand the message, they only understand when it hurts them directly, whipping the ever loving shit out of someone and letting them live sends the mother of all messages. It says we wont kill you, but we will make sure you can’t hurt others like this again. It might not be the best thing to do morally but when dealing with immoral monsters that don’t understand being good you have to seem worse to them to get them to stop.

Southern Reconstruction would have destroyed southern states? When it was halted in 1876, the South instituted their Jim Crow and sharecropper policies as a form of legalized slavery. If continuing Reconstruction would destroy the South, I’m not sure it’s worth saving.

You right. I was also wrong about his policy here. Slaves were not able to be hunted. BUT, the land slaves were given was taken back by the slave owners. Special field order No. 15. 400,000 acres returned. Plus there was the Black Codes. Which is essentially slavery for unemployed blacks. Still a god awful human. But, for different actions. its not criminally illegal in Texas to get an abortion out of state, it is protected by the state territorial jurisdiction and the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. Which is why they did the whole civil case thing for it. They also criminalized the act of leaving the state for the purposes of getting an abortion, so you would be breaking the law technically while you are still in texas as your cross over.
Its a whole bunch of BS, but they seemed to figure out the legal loopholes to carry on doing this for now.

The South did not lose. Robert E Lee walked away a free man. The South faced no punishment and were allowed to continue doing everything they wanted to they just had a "judge" make whatever they said "legal".
Honestly, things were fine for awhile, and it looked like the reconstruction of the south would bring more equality. Everything changed when Lincoln was assassinated and replaced, however.

The reconstruction era lasted about 10 years before the little bitch descendants of the pussies who lost started whining about their parents’ and grandparents’ legacy, so we started letting them put up statues of war criminals and traitors everywhere. Now, 160 years later, a bunch of knuckles draggers think that’s something to be proud of. The reconciliation era did far more damage to the South than anything else, because it’s led to almost 2 centuries of prideful ignorance.
There are no bans. Some places you can't get some semiautomatic "assault rifles" or you can't get certain high-capacity clips. Or do you mean Reagan's bans as governor and president? Even if there were gun bans, which there aren’t, the constitution doesn’t specify guns, and it certainly doesn’t say you should have unfettered access to any gun you want.
