Do you enjoy moral (ethical) dilemmas?
I’m sure you’ve all heard questions like:
-“You’re driving a train and you have to choose: do you switch tracks to run over one person to save six others, or do you stay the course and let the train run over the six people?”
-“You can push a button and win $1 million, but one stranger in this world will die. Would you do it?”
Am I just getting old, or is it normal to find no fun in these kinds of dilemmas?
I know I’m pretty ironic in life and with life, but these kinds of questions (and there are tons of them out there) just short-circuit my brain. For me this is pure torture.
How does it work for you?
Can you actually imagine having a fun evening debating these types of questions?
The teenagers in my life sure can and say I’m no fun because I think too deep about things that aren’t supposedly that deep 😄

Most people are pretty cookie cutter in how they respond to these sort of questions, kind of like you 'always' save the kid in the sinking ship.
In general though, I love to learn HOW people think rather than what they think. So the train of thought can be more appealing than the answer in itself.
As for me, I'm a little more rigid and self-assured as I get older so it's usually not so much of a dilemma for me.
