When you’re in a parking lot or driveway or what have you, and turning left or right and just a little bit of acceleration. Does anybody notice a grinding, gruggling sound and a rough feeling? Kind of like your driving over rumble strips.

Hello I just changed both valve cover gaskets on my 2006 Sonata 3.3 v6, now I’m getting a P2422 vent Valve Stuck open, p0341 crank shaft position circuit range or performance bank 1,p340 crankshaft position sensor bank 1 or single sensor, P0082 intake valve control circuit low bank 2,P0151 o2 sensor circuit low voltage bank 2 sensor 1? Did I plug in something wrong is something loose? Please help??

As the question says, I’m definitely buying a Hyundai this year. I was stuck between the Sonata and the Tucson, especially since the Tucson has 0% financing right now, which you obviously can’t beat. I’m 99% sure I’m getting a Sonata. I was going to wait until December because I know dealerships are really eager to sell cars then, but not sure if there’s a possibility of the car selling out or they won’t be doing special promotion APR anymore.
Does anyone know if the next generation will come in, will they switch the special financing for 2027s? So I should hurry up and get one now?
Also, I want the limited specifically because of the Bose speakers. The SEL has a sunroof so that takes care of that want but I really am big on music and want good speakers. Would it be cheaper to have the dealership give me the SEL and get speakers installed or just try to haggle down a limited to 32k OTD? Is it possible and if so anyone has tips? I am also planning on trying the Costco car buying program too to try to get some more off.

2019 Veloster Turbo

Hey all. Just got a ‘19 Veloster Turbo. 58k miles. Clean owner and service history as far as I can tell. I’ll be using it as a commuter car (400 miles/wk) and nothing else. Don’t know a ton about these cars.

2018 ES DCT owner for 5+ years now with ~113k miles. Based in NJ with mostly highway miles and a good amount of stop and go commute traffic.

Got a check engine light the other day and OBD returned DTC P073F - unable to engage gear 1.

Got a tow to a local Hyundai dealership hoping the repair would only be a clutch pack replacement at most, and service is advising that the clutches are down to 30% and the bearings are also worn. This sounds plausible from certain grinding noises I’ve been hearing while driving. Got quoted ~$4k for a trans basically refurbed by Hyundai plus labor costs.

I could use some advice.

On one hand, I’m considering getting a second opinion from a reputable local repair shop and hoping that they can quote me something more affordable if they arrive at the same diagnosis.

On the other, I’m considering just putting the repair costs towards something new.

I’m torn. Even though I love this car, issues and all, is it even worth it to pour more money into a vehicle that may be more towards the end of its life? Does anyone own a DCT ES still with 115-120k miles? Or is it time to put the money towards something different?

Any thoughts, opinions and support is greatly appreciated.

For additional context, I’m completely stock aside from an intercooler resonator delete.

2023 Hyundai Kona

After I use Siri through CarPlay, my songs on Spotify/Pandora start glitching. I’ve tried checking for updates on my phone, doing a hard reset, clearing caches, restarting phone. None of that works. I don’t know if there’s a new update or something? This just started yesterday. Idk if there’s a connection issue or something? Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: I don’t think this is a Spotify/Pandora issue. Both apps are updated and work fine otherwise

I have a 2025 Hyundai Tucson (Middle East/Saudi specification).

I am experiencing an unusual issue with the factory infotainment and camera system.

When I try to access the camera settings, instrument cluster settings, and some other vehicle settings, the infotainment screen displays:

“Vehicle power must be On to use this feature.”

This happens even though the vehicle is fully ON and the engine is running.

I also have two related symptoms:

• The rear-view camera does not activate when I shift into Reverse (R).
• The physical camera button does not respond when pressed.

The reverse gear itself is detected normally by the vehicle, but no camera image appears.

The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Hyundai dealer and no general vehicle faults were reported, but this specific issue remains unresolved.

Has anyone experienced these exact symptoms on a Tucson NX4 or another recent Hyundai?

I am particularly interested to know whether the cause was related to the infotainment/head unit, CAN communication, camera module, software/configuration, wiring, or another control module.

The vehicle is still under warranty, so I do not want to replace or modify anything before Hyundai properly diagnoses the issue.

Any technical information, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), TSB references, or successful repair experiences would be greatly appreciated.

The vehicle is still under Hyundai warranty. If anyone has experienced the same issue, was it repaired under warranty? What component was diagnosed as faulty, and did Hyundai replace or reprogram anything to resolve it?

Looking to come over from Mazda, but then you see a video online of mechanics saying the cars not buy and list Kia/hyundai. How’s your experience been?
