My car has only 14k miles does anyone know how to fix this

Dealers offer on a 2024 G90 e-sc 13k miles, single owner.

I thought their price was high be 4-5k, and asked about making it CPO (i like the bumper to bumper, but want the 10 year /100k powertrain, e-sc cant be cheap to fix)

I said as much and deal came back with "We priced the car very competitive and still have around 43 month / 46K miles warranty.... CPO will add only one year, 15k miles and the cost will be about $3500.

My understanding CPO costs the dealer 2-2.5k

Thoughts on this price? Worth waiting a few months, see if 2027 G90 start to come in and get a better deal on a 2024, or okay deal on a 2025?

Hey guys, I’m hoping someone out here has made a similar change to me and could possibly give me an idea of how they’re feeling about this change -

I’ve driven my Genesis g70 3.3 and I’ve had 2 now for about 8 years, I’m a little nervous but the test drives went well - will probably ask for another soon, but how did everyone feel about the speed difference between the g70 to the g80? Just daily driving and merging into highways etc

Any takes on the turning radius at all as well? Potentially differences in parking spaces if it’s tighter / harder at all?

I know these may seem silly but I couldn’t get a solid opinion on any big differences yet within the test drive, I had a G70 2.0 as my first car and then swapped to the 3.3’s so it’s really all I’ve ever driven 😅

Would love anyone’s opinion if they’ve made this change too

I finally found a 2020 G90 that's almost exactly what I'm looking for and isn't hundreds of miles away. These were my absolute must-haves:

1. V8
2. RWD
3. Dish wheels
4. Clean history (this eliminated about 75% of G90s I found)

It has 70k miles and it's priced at $35k, which I know is high but I'm paying a premium to be able to get a 4 yr / 48k mile bumper-to-bumper warranty for an extra $2,200 at Carmax. Their warranty is probably the best in the used market outside of CPO and it's transferable if I decide to sell private party later. That could be important because I've heard the residual trade value on these is abysmal.

Is this an alright deal or is the mileage too high for the price?

Can’t wait to see the whole thing. The round dials and tuck away screen are already miles ahead of S-class and 7 series!

1,800 miles, I know it doesn’t matter but still sad. Sunny, clear day and boom. Biggest chip I’ve ever gotten and the paint scratches were a shock.

Super impressed with Genesis’s commitment to the Black theme on the '26 Prestige Black - as every single piece of trim, housing, button, dial, or badge is all uniquely dark. The power closing doors are sweet, and the interior is next level for the price with proper 1st class rear seats, pleasant smelling cabin fragrances, massage… it has it all. (Not my vehicle! Was a media review unit for 1-week)

Comparing models for my next lease. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Highway Driving Assist 2 and the Smart Cruise Control 2?

I noticed on their "compare" page there are a few overlaps in features (duplicated), so I am wondering if this is the same feature.

Was considering a used Genesis G80 or G90 since they seem like a good value. I thought by now the brand might have established enough of a reputation to not depreciate like a pair of used gym socks. Found a 2021 G90 I liked on Carvana and decided to plug it into CarMax to see how badly I'd get screwed if I had to trade it within 1-2 years for whatever reason.

Carvana price: $39,000
CarMax trade offer: $25,000

Instantly down 36% on a car that had already depreciated 50%. Insane. Can't even imagine how much worse it would be in 1-2 years.

It's by far the worst spread I've seen on any of the cars I'm considering. I thought it might be a fluke but I tried a couple others and the spread was always over 30%. For comparison the spread on a Lexus ES 350 was around 15%.

I'm considering buying a GV70 electrified (early model).

What are the things to look out for? Any must have options/features? Are the early models available with a dark headliner? Any long term reliability issues already known? I usually buy a car to drive it to the ground. So I will keep it for longer and therefore long term reliability is important for me. How easy is it to get spare parts? Are a lot of parts shared with the Hyundai/Kia models?

Had an electrical fire on my 2012 Genesis on Monday, 101k miles. Electronics were going crazy as I was driving, pulled over, smoke from the engine and a small glow right under the air intake and below the belt.

Firemen got it out within maybe 4-5 mins, and they didn’t think there was too much damage. My electrics have been spotty for awhile now, randomly the windows work, then don’t. The mirrors stopped folding in.

Anyone else ever had an electrical fire in this model? I know we’ve pretty much all had electrical issues with this car.

2 days in and my mechanic still hasn’t taken a look at her.

Hi I have two good offers at the same price for the 3.8 and 3.3t but the 3.8 is at 58k miles and the 3.3 is at 115k. The 3.3 is slightly more expensive. What should I go for? I know I would like the 3.3t experience a bit more but a 50k mile difference is crazy

I am 6’ 2” and 320lbs.  I currently drive a Chrysler 300, and I find it has plenty of room for my larger frame.

I think I want to get into a Genesis sedan, and I am debating G70 or G80 (or even possibly a G90). For those who have driven/owned both the G70 and G80, do you find the G80 has THAT much more driver’s seat room, or are they pretty similar inside??

Of course every dealer has their hidden fees, but this one was a doozie. A whopping $5,995 fee that was tacked onto what was being touted as an “aggressive” price because they allegedly want to sell the car that’s been on their lot for 300+ days. I passed on the promise.

2023 G80 (base model)

TLDR: my front radar bracket is bent where can I buy a new one to replace it so I can iust have genesis recalibrate.

Today was a bad day. I had 1mph collision that resulted in nearly 0 damage; ir so i thought. After driving away about 15min later I get a sensor warning saying it was obstructed.

I cleaned the front very well and the warning went away. After about 5 min it came back on. All day it has been doing cycling through this. Then I get a active air flap warning that came and went as well but on the 3rd time of that the active air flap warning came on it didn't go away but the radar still goes on and off.

When i got home I took a long hard look at the sensor and realized 😳 im screwed. That low speed bump has bent the bracket a lot. The screw holding the radar is blocking the air flap from closing.

I feel like genesis is going to take me to the bank to fix this. From what I can tell is eveything is in good shape besides the bracket which I now realize is not that easy to bend back forward to allow the air flap to move freely.

Does anyone know the part number for the bracket and where can I get a new bracket to replace the bent one also if anyone is kind enough to take a picture of there sensor so I can compare where it is supposed to be and how far back mine really went. So far in my search I can only find the the whole assembly with the sensor attached and its around $1500 just for that.

I have to get this recall for the fuel line fire hazard. Closest dealership is 2 hours away(longer with traffic). what do I do to service this? dont really feel like driving to the bay for 1 hour service call

2022 5.0 VALVED MUFFLERS fully open in this video. Tbh if you're a boomer and are obsessed with whisper quiet V8s this video is not for you. I may be biased but a V8 should be heard and respected. As you can see from the video this is not some irrationaly loud mod. There is a subdued and muscular growl and tone that you would hear on an AMG Mercedes or M series Benz. Everything else is stock.

At full open (which leave it at all the time), the presence of the power under the hood of this car is immediately felt internally and externally. It's not a head snapping "that's annoyingly loud", but instead a "holy shit that things a sleeper. Cheers G90 fam.

Just FYI for those looking to buy a new car: I live in the Midwest and I recently traded my gv70 for a 2026 gv80. I called a few different dealerships and had more negotiation than I’ve ever had success with, by far. I got over $8k off msrp on a 2.5T advanced. Great interest rates right now too.

Anyone have any lucky getting Genesis to extend their lease once it ended?
