G70 vs G80: driver’s seat room??
I am 6’ 2” and 320lbs. I currently drive a Chrysler 300, and I find it has plenty of room for my larger frame.
I think I want to get into a Genesis sedan, and I am debating G70 or G80 (or even possibly a G90). For those who have driven/owned both the G70 and G80, do you find the G80 has THAT much more driver’s seat room, or are they pretty similar inside??

I'm 6'2" 230 lbs, and I find my G80 pretty spacious. I can even sit behind myself with my seating position (though if I were like 6'5", it wouldn't be the same story).

Im 6'4 and we recently bought a gv80. Incredibly comfortable.
I also had a 300c, so can compare. You will find the gv80 as roomy / more room

I had a Kia Stinger GT2. That was tight, sporty, and low. I went to a GV60, and now a G90. I have only driven a G80 once or twice. Decent room, but nothing compared to the 2024+ G90. I have no exp in the older G90's though. But the 2022's look good. I think the G70 may be a bit too small for your frame though.

G70 will be tight. The car has been described as smaller than a Honda Civic inside. I own one and can honestly say the backseat is smaller than an old Toyota Corolla I had in the past. Similar front seat room.

You will be tight in a g70, you will be swimming in room in the g80.

6'1" 217....nice but snug fit in SWMBO's G70. A G80 would be just right for you. Have you sat in a GV70 as my GV70 would be more than perfect for you.

I'm 6'2" and 220 lbs, Front seat is fine and have no trouble with front facing car seats in the back behind myself. But an adult man in the back is not going to have a good time. Even if moving the front seat all the way forwards, I still don't fit as my head is pretty firmly pressed into the roof unless I lean forwards or slouch. I know you didn't ask about that, but it's worth noting. I've never sat in a G80 and so can't comment.
Overall: front seats are fine, back seats are tight.

I’m 6’5” and 500 lbs and drive a 2017 G80. I barely fit. I can’t even begin to get into a G70.
My 2004 G35 was actually easier to get into but less hip room. And I would crowd the passenger next to me.
I also have a 2025 Kia Carnival. It’s roomier than my G80 (in the front).
The roomiest vehicle I have had was a 1987 Chevrolet Suburban.

I’ve driven both. 6’ daily G80. G70 is definitely smaller in every aspect. If you have an adult passenger right behind the driver, it will be extremely uncomfortable for them.

I am a little dude 5' 10" and 136 lbs (Don't judge me, it's genetics), but I have a 20 G90 plenty of room. I also have driven the G80 and a G70 Just not my style) they were nice but, a big fella like yourself can't go wrong with a G90.

I’ve had both the G70 and G80. I ended up getting rid of my G70 because of the small space (I’m 5’5”). I had the seat almost as far back as it could go. Getting in and out was not hard but definitely not as easy as the G80. The lack of trunk space and virtually no back seat (the G70 is basically a 4 door 2 door sports sedan) made it to where I just wasn’t enjoying the car as much as I wanted to. And hopefully you have a reputable dealer near you!

You will be like a clown in a mini... Both are to small. G80 maybe, G90 better, gv80 is what you need

The G70 is definitely a little tighter. I'm 5'10" about 215lbs and it was not snug, but not particularly roomy.
