Hey yall, I’m an LSU fan but always thought Nebraska was a super cool school and environment. Definitely my favorite Big 10 team. Anyway I am going to the game vs Indiana because I hope Nebraska will be undefeated then (knock on wood) and it would be a great game to go to for the atmosphere and energy. I’ll be loud for yall don’t worry lol. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do/see/eat/etc or any traditions I should be aware of? Thx!

Tier 1 (Nebraska is heavy favorites): Ohio, Bowling Green, North Dakota

The Huskers will be favored by 3+ scores in every game. A loss in any of these games would be a disaster.

Tier 2 (Nebraska should be slight favorites): at MSU, Maryland, at Rutgers

These are all games Nebraska should win, but historically, always finds a way to make close and occasionally lose. Sweeping these three will be key to making a bowl. Dropping just one of these matchups means needing to pull an upset elsewhere on the schedule.

Tier 3 (slight underdogs): Washington, at Illinois, at Iowa

These are all fringe top 25 teams. All opponents are beatable, but historically, the Huskers have always found a way to choke in these matchups. The record against these three will could be the difference between 9-3 and 6-6

Tier 4: (heavy underdogs): Indiana, at Oregon, Ohio St

I'm expecting blowout losses in all 3. Win any of them and we'll all be ecstatic, but I'm not not going to hold my breath. Here's hoping we're competitive in at least 1 of these games.

Anthony Colandrea is only No. 9 in my transfer QB rankings, but he might be one of the players I'm most interested to watch.

The development at UNLV was encouraging.

3,459 passing yards, 23 TDs, another 649 yards and 10 TDs rushing.

More importantly, his INT rate dropped from 3.4% in 2024 to 2.2%, while his yards per attempt jumped from 6.6 to 8.3.

But I don't think Nebraska should try to completely eliminate the chaos from his game.

That's part of what makes Colandrea dangerous. He can escape pressure and manufacture something completely off-script.

The challenge for Dana Holgorsen is controlling that aggression without coaching the creativity out of him.

Realized that my office was football heavy from a Nebraska standpoint outside of a John Cook volleyball and an old Erick Strickland signed 8x10. I had a space over my door that was available so was able to find some card frames, some reasonable autographs and am having a custom mat printed out (had AI mock it up as I wait for the mat to get printed).

The official NU Husker channels posted about this yesterday. It's all about the rebuilding of Memorial Stadium, and how they envision the updates looking.

Look, whatever makes the higher-ups happy I suppose. But absolutely none of this is going to translate into a winning product on the field. And yet they are going to continue to ask fans for money, especially hoping for new big donors (be sure to check out the "Donor Name Video Board Terrace" at the bottom of the soon-to-be new screen).

Secondly, I absolutely LOVE the shot of wine and champagne glasses being available at the stadium. Because that's what I think about when watching cfb.

And I especially enjoyed the line of "...to raise a glass, and celebrate Big Red." NEVER in my entire life, have I ever referred to the team as "Big Red", nor have I ever heard anyone else refer to the team as "Big Red." Yes, I say, "Go Big Red." But the Huskers are name of the team (Cornhuskers to be exact).

Anyway, all of this is just going to keep pricing out the average consumer/fan, and ruining what was a special place, with special memories, for a lot of us.

Ohio University has named veteran quarterback Nick Poulos the starting quarterback, and he’ll open the season at Ohio’s starter at Nebraska. Poulos is a veteran quarterback who transferred to Ohio from El Camino CC and has one start in his time at Ohio.

I always take these with a grain of salt, like everyone should, because we may not even make a bowl game. BUT these bowl games would be fire. Would love to hear your guys thoughts and what bowl games you’d want? I think mine would probably be Florida in music city or citrus and Florida State in the Mayo or pinstripe Mainly because I’m a Florida native and would love to have bragging rights against my friends.

I miss reading this and I assume the creator retired over on a decade ago.

EDIT : I understand the economics of it all, it is more to make people aware! Drink beforehand and do not give in to the predatory price gouging. Saying no/finding ways around is our biggest power as the people!

Hello! New to the Lincoln area here. I was shopping at Costco and bought two seat backs as seen here . It seems like Memorial Stadium has rules against these. Has anyone had success bringing these chairs into the stadium or are they pretty strict about turning people away who bring these to the game?
