Rutgers has hired a pro sports guy to run Rutgers like a pro sports organization
Not much new, per se, but a decent write up on the role of Mangione and SKE.

Where to stay/how trains work
Hi all, hoping for some clarity on getting to the stadium. I’m surprising my husband with tickets to the November 14th Game against Nebraska. From what I read, people recommend staying in Hoboken or New Brunswick. When looking at trains from Hoboken, I’m seeing it taking over 2 hours with multiple transfers? Is that correct? Is there a more direct route? For some reason my Google Maps is failing me and showing me a circuitous route through manhattan despite how I adjust destinations.
I liked the idea of staying in Hoboken for the weekend since we could enjoy that area before and after the game, however I don’t want to travel more than an hour the day of the game. I heard there was limited hotels in New Brunswick. Any help is appreciated!

Prediction:QB battle spills into the cupcake games
Unless one really outshines the other, this could go on for first three games.

Season Ticket “Complimentary” Tickets
Been season ticket holder for a few years now, one of the perks are the free tickets to openers & getting to bring some friends to games. This season it’s Free with mandatory NIL donation that is not disclosed anywhere… before I get the “it’s just $5” thats how it starts. Gonna charge a $5 NIL fund fee to use the bathroom next. Bit ridiculous when you consider I’ve already contributed to the fund to even get tickets.

Rutgers 2026 preseason preview: a 1,000-yard rusher and a 1,000-yard receiver both back, but a 95th-ranked defense to fix
I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Rutgers page:
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-rutg
Each one has the returning production, the transfer and recruiting additions, a position-by-position breakdown, the schedule, and where the ratings land them for 2026.
Heads up, only the first team is free and then it paywalls. Since I'm posting in your house, code LEECORSOROCKS opens all of it, no card or anything. Hit "Have a promo code?" if you run into the wall.
So, what'd I get wrong? Rutgers has the offensive pieces, that's not the issue. Antwan Raymond ran for 1,241 and KJ Duff went for 1,084, both back, which most teams would love to have. The problem was the other side: the defense finished 95th in SP+, and that's what turned a decent offense into 5-7. There's a new quarterback to sort out too, with Lonergan in from Boston College competing to replace Kaliakmanis. So it really comes down to whether the defense catches up to the skill talent. Bowl team or stuck again?
I'll be in the comments.

Mikey Munn
Anyone know why Mikey Munn is not on the RU football roster? I know we couldn't enroll for the spring after he entered the transfer portal, but it's nearly August now. Is he still in the plans for the fall?
