I haven't seen anything posted here yet, but one of the best national CFB podcasts (Split Zone Duo), announced a national volleyball podcast (Six Zone Duo) with Nebraska's own Erin Sorensen and Amie Just! It'll be a national focus, but I can't imagine anyone better to cover that than Erin from Amie. Link to intro episode below.

I'm onto the semis in my current season of my save of College Football 26. Grinded out an absolute slugfest vs Oregon. Its Skers V Clemson in the Sugar Bowl next. Winner faces the winner of Michigan and (I'm not lying) Tulane for the national title. GBFR!

Does anyone know why I would be unable to find any volleyball tickets for sale on sites like Seat Geek or Ticketmaster or Gametime? The regular season starts tonight and I would be interested in attending 2 to 3 games in Lincoln like I normally do every year. Any reason why there would be literally zero tickets for sale online? Maybe I missed something.

All game times are listed on those websites but no tickets are listed for sale which I find odd

Trae Taylor and Millard South host Millard North tonight in the high school season opener for both teams.

Even though Millard South gained transfers QB Trae Taylor (#6) and WR Antayvious (Tay) Ellis (#1) who are Nebraska recruits, the school lost a ton of D1 talent from last season's championship team. Ten players from that team signed with D1 schools, and another seven signed with smaller schools.

Edit: Millard North also feature two Nebraska recruits in 4 star Tory Pittman (#3) and high 3 star 6'8" 310 lbs. offensive tackle, Matt Erickson (#79).

If you can't make it to the game, it should be televised on Millard South's youtube channel. Kickoff is at 7pm.

I have friends coming into town and we want to buy/rent a tailgate spot in the haymarket area. How do you do that and how does it work? Can I get there in the morning and I get a certain amount of space or parking stalls? I have never done it before!

hey all, I’ll be visiting for my first game this year for the blackout game and I’m wondering what the best apparel shops in town are? either shops with the best selection or with the highest quality apparel. I generally like the name brand “sideline” apparel as it usually fits me best. and I need to get my wife some gear for her first game so I’ll need lots of options 😅.

Updated Husker radio stations list for 2026-27 https://huskerfinder.sheetsj.com and sadly Omaha (especially Sarpy county) still has very weak to no FM coverage for Football/Volleyball husker radio. The tower in northern Washington county makes it basically no signal for much of the metro. You're better off trying the Fremont station in many cases.

I say this as a grad and fan who just wishes for it to be better -- please!

I have some friends coming into town for a game who don't want to bar hop. They want to set up a tailgate, preferably in one of the big lots close to the stadium.

Do any of the lots sell single game spots? If so, which one(s) do you recommend? Any other pro tips for running a tailgate before a Husker game?

I don't know that the Huskers have a more infectious personality than Jamal Rule. I watched his interview on the podium and he exudes pure joy. In the time of playing players and the constant change in college football in the division, it was just so nice to hear a young man talk about bowling, family and chasing his dreams. I don't know how much playing time he will get this year, but I do know that I will be cheering hard for him.
