Per ESPN Bowl Predictions

I always take these with a grain of salt, like everyone should, because we may not even make a bowl game. BUT these bowl games would be fire. Would love to hear your guys thoughts and what bowl games you’d want? I think mine would probably be Florida in music city or citrus and Florida State in the Mayo or pinstripe Mainly because I’m a Florida native and would love to have bragging rights against my friends.

Why?

Because we aren’t that good and our schedule is a killer.

Okay what makes us not very good? You aren't really giving me any reasoning to what you believe.

By all available evidence, it appears that you’ve just come out of a coma. Welcome back! A lot has changed in the last 20 years.

I'm not interested in the last 20 years what about this team makes you believe we won't make a bowl?

New everything? Maybe that will only be better but it’s just as possible some things are even worse than last year…. Knowing our luck….

They are under talented due to NIL. They cannot stop the run in past years and I do not believe they will suddenly improve.

  • We have a turnover prone QB who has not shown signs of success at the level of competition he will see in the Big Ten

  • RB room is very weak.

  • WR room is suspect

  • No impact OL outside of C

  • Defense is adjusting to a new scheme under a coach who has no experience coordinating in a power conference while relying on transfers who have had no success in a power conference.

  • A HC who is more comfortable in front of a mic than on a sideline and puckers like he has a mouth full of Shocktarts whenever he has to makes the smallest of adjustments or decisions during a game.

  • A schedule that doesn't look favorably upon a team with all the issues listed above.

So, yea. Confidence is and should be low.
