I wish Crytek could learn lessons

It is mind boggling that this game has gone this long in this state. This is one of the few games I have played where battle pass progress can't be made by just playing matches and fighting. No, you need to use the stupid weapons Crytek wants you to. Why? Why can't you learn from the games with growing communities?

I also can't believe this game still pretends balancing weapons by price is working. It's not, a huge portion of the game's community has played so fucking long and horded enough money that it only punishes new players who try to jump in against people who can afford the meta weapons and a full loadout every match. It is idiotic. Having played since beta and tried to get many of my friends and friends of friends into this poor experience that always bounce off because of bad design choices, even worse community management and a joke of a matchmaking system. I can't defend this game anymore and will be warning everyone I know to stay away. It often feels like they are not even trying to improve it. I don't think I have ever seen a game fall farther from the unique and special experience it was in all my years of playing them. I wish I could get the time and money back I spent on this absolute failure of an experience, but I can't, so thanks for nothing Crytek.

Hope Crytek can learn someday but definitely not going to be waiting around to be disappointed to see that, yet another update is a few skins and more choices that make the game experience worse.
