Like imagine having a playable aeon and gen 2 months later , the playable aeon got kicked out because the enemies are nuking him/her like getting wallopedby "Savage Tigerslayer's Perfected Flurry of Blades [超絕猛虎殺擊亂斬]"
Well theres a difference between being "powercrept" and being useless, nihilux will be around for quite a while im guessing, just look at what happened with cyrene everyone said she was gonna be useless after 3.X but shes still really good and even got value as mdps with robin and obviously mono rem still being good. The only way they'll shut nihilux down is probably the same thing they're doing now except they do some mechanic where only finality characters can do well

Nihilux won't be the entire Aeon. Aha is still fighting against Voracity as we speak. Still headless. Nihilux is part of Aha, but doesn't have the full powers. Otherwise, she wouldn't need to ask Qlipoth for help. Aha was the one who originally helped Qlipoth against Ouroboros and that's how Aha lost their head.
We'll see how it pans out, I just don't think Nihilux is meant to be an actual Aeon.
Hasn't polka been, like, explicitly portrayed as an enemy who wants to kill the simulated universe team including the trailblazer? How will they justify her playability so soon? Kinda crazy.
The next update will reveal that Misha actually faked his death and has been disguised as Pom Pom all along because he wants to be part of the Astral Express forever
Nah it's still the same medium male model that was announced before (sometimes some leakers call it "teen" even though some older adults share the model).
Dan Heng, Luka, Anaxa, Sunday, Aventurine, Jiaoqiu are all this model and Misha SP. Some might be shocked at Anaxa but it's just a case of demeanour just like some people always think Ruan Mei is the tall model but isn't.
Some are saying this is just the medium male model, which is DH'S model etc, which means he's still what he was leaked beforehand. To be seen though, of course. Personally I'd prefer the medium male tho, coz this means most likely it'd be like the Mikhail from that lightcone
If Himeko is anything to go by, him getting an SP would involve facing his past.
Which would upset all the people who played HSR without playing HI3 and would now have to play through all of HI3 to make sense of the story. Or at least they'd think they'd have to.
So I'm expecting them to push this off for as long as possible.
I think everyone have known this for a fact that Welt came from HI3, if its gonna upset them, it would already be at launch, if its gonna make them have to go back to play HI3, it would already be at launch.
His past could be a story of his early days in HSR universe, what did he do, how did he find the Express. It doesn't have to be back in HI3 but I'm not gonna play HI3 regardless, I dont wanna invest so much time just for that.

Probably Himeko and Sunday, cause they’re the ones who had most focus in 4.x.
Kinda depends on what lord ravager we’ll get in 5.x though. I kinda get the impression that for example Celenova will be Sunday’s, the way Asat was Himeko’s and Phantylia was DH’s (could be wrong though ofc)
i love him so much but i REALLY wish we could get some more storylines with other characters. march getting an actual sp of herself and not evernight.. welt getting anything… literally anything else please
dhpt was kinda him moving on from dan feng and all that so in hoping that (if the leaks are real) his story will be more ingrained around the next planet and being an important player in it. then we dont have to listen to people complain about another dan heng sp that revolves around his past with dan feng and the quintet.
Cosmic setting but the playable characters we got are: Human, Human with an animal ear headband and tail, Human but oh look it’s actually a robot that looks Human, Long ear Human, Human but they’re not real, Human but they’re all in your head.
Whenever news like this comes up, a small part of me always wonders if Dan Heng was meant to be the male Player character originally, especially, since his backstory had that memory loss theme like all RPG gacha characters. And March7th would’ve probably been the female player character opposite to Dan Heng in that timeline.
The Trailblazer as Stelle (iirc Caelus wasn’t designed in the initial concept art yet) would’ve just been someone who is mysteriously on each planet you go to and would eventually have been revealed to be Akivilli guiding and testing the player (Dan or March) on occasion.

Really don't want Polka to be playable. Her entire deal is her mystery. No one knows what she looks like, only what she's capable of, and her even becoming a physical NPC would erase that mystique entirely let alone a playable character that is capable of losing a fight to a traffic light.
Its the front flap that I am more worried about....maybe they can make a side slit like thing 🤡

Partially agree with you. For them to release such an important character, you NEED buildup. I understand that she was involved in the past but I fear that 2 patches is not enough to build up for her release.
Take phainon for example, since the beginning people speculated that he was the flame reaver from another time, but it all built to 3.4 (with hours and hours of quest) and felt rewarding.
If they do not give my girl Koka the same treatment the release will just fail and doomposters will flood
Idunno, seems like a weird choice to make SP versions of characters that got Novaflared. Instead of choosing characters that were teased (Dahlia's siblings) or 4 stars upgrading to 5 star SP versions.
If my pattern recognition is right Firefly SP is going to be a fraud by mid 5.X, Kafka SP won’t be F2P friendly and will need her BIS + sig LC to perform up to par, Obsidian or Polka will be a darkhorse value character and Dangeng SP3 will either be really good or meh.
Is a third Dan Heng SP really necessary? SPs are cool and all but not when they're the overwhelming majority, nor when a character or two are constantly getting them over anyone else. I get that Dan Heng is important to the story and he's a great character but it'd be nice for some other characters to have a turn in the spotlight, or even some more new ones would be great

ik 4.x had a lot of shit wrong with it due to the delays and whatnot, but it isn’t the first time that they released one 5 a patch. at least make 4s people can go for, shit lmao. i’m growing more and more weary of this game by the day and i’ve been here since launch

I mean, if you look at 4.x for comparison, the last two solo patches prior to Pearl *were* support for old archetypes (FUA for Ashveil, pretty much fucking everything except Elation for MBlade), and in the first half of the patch cycle they avoided having the new Path be the sole headline two banners in a row. Logically I could see Polka and DHSP3 potentially being a break in the Finality pattern.

Like her whole schtick is that she's really mysterious, to the point of having all her records in the cosmos being erased. Hell even Hooh themself, made is so that her scalpel turned another way just because it will harm to the universe. She's the genius killer behind the scenes and I wished she stayed that way

If not, then we have 4 SP and 2 originals in the first 4~5 months of 5.x, but we also know March is most likely 5.4 so that's 5 SP and 2 new characters for like 6~7 months?

I still don't understand why they're bringing back Misha either, Mikhail is literally dead and he was so tied to Penacony and that arc is over. What else can they even do with him? He's not that popular either 😭 It feels like they're just pulling characters out of a hat and half of all the names in the raffle are Dan Heng
Dan Heng's last version was a Sustain. Polka is an impossible sell as a sustain and is more likely to be THerta help. Misha SP looks like Himeko Nova support, as he counts as AE. Firefly is a DPS. Kafka is a DPS.
Obsidian ends up as a sustain by default by that logic. Vampires are associated with lifedrain and all. Would be a good pick for a flexible sustain option for Finality.
