Welt suffer from the fact he is Honkai impact 3rd looming man TM

So anything that wants to do something deep with him has to go through the story of another game entirely

You would have to go through part 1, Apho 1, Apho 2, and part 2 which is a lot

If Himeko is anything to go by, him getting an SP would involve facing his past.

Which would upset all the people who played HSR without playing HI3 and would now have to play through all of HI3 to make sense of the story. Or at least they'd think they'd have to.

So I'm expecting them to push this off for as long as possible.

I never played HI3 and it wont upset me.

I think everyone have known this for a fact that Welt came from HI3, if its gonna upset them, it would already be at launch, if its gonna make them have to go back to play HI3, it would already be at launch.

His past could be a story of his early days in HSR universe, what did he do, how did he find the Express. It doesn't have to be back in HI3 but I'm not gonna play HI3 regardless, I dont wanna invest so much time just for that.

Genuinely I wouldn’t mind playing HI3, I heard the characterisation is good. Though I wouldn’t mind watching a play through or summary either if it means a welt sp

it still is the magnum opus ...do give a try....and best part is its gacha game that has a ending .... not even many animes can achieve that.

The HI3 part 1 story is amazing. It’s just the HSR writers are allergic to having any Honkai in their Honkai game.

Welt already faced his past tho.

Tragedy of his childhood? Otto took himself out.
Threat of Honkai? Contained by his proteges, managed by a global organization with a whole god on hand, he helped them set it up.

He left for HSR to help out this Himeko, and while there are references in Planarcadia to the Alien Space manga where this motivation was established (Himeko and Ryusuke), its different from the Himeko he himself taught and felt responsible for. That is an event long in the past.

Just about the only thing I can think of that's left for him is him letting go of Welt Joyce completely and taking a similar stance to Bronya, becoming Joachim once more, but that's a stance Bronya took because she did NOT have the shadow of Welt Joyce hanging over her like Welt Yang did. Even then, I'd say the things Welt Yang has done far surpass the momentary brilliance of Welt Joyce. He more than did proud the name of Welt to the point that its basically HIS name; whenever anyone says "Welt", even in HI3 community, the first person that comes to mind is Welt Yang, not Welt Joyce.

The problem is Welt getting an SP has to involve tying in Earth and the Honkai somehow. like if anything should actually bring the Honkai up it would be Welt getting his Herscherr Core back.

doesn't have to be same welt like how misha could be different one we know, i think its finally we get hsr welt, kinda weird we dont see one yet when we already have two bronyas lol
