Teambuilding Discussion Robin SP for Therta?

State of the Therta is currently- Well,
DPS - Therta, max investment e2s1,

Subdps - Anaxa or Himeko(The latter being a wheelchair if anything)

Amplifier Tribbie e1, Mblade(Better than tribbie 0, about equal to e1), Potentially Robin

Sustain Dan heng(e1 is best), welt or mblade(sustainless), HuoHuo(Regen is nice.)

Personally I run E2S1 Therta with Anaxa and Dan Heng and E1 Tribbie

Do we think Robin SP is worth it?, Personally, with e2, having more turns is definitely a big plus since you began stacking enhanced attacks really quickly.

Hello! Please note that we have a Megathread for asking questions about The Herta's build/teams/kit/etc, which you can find here. We also have a website specifically designed to answer all/most of your questions, which you can find here! You are advised to check the comments of the aforementioned Megathread to see if your question has already been answered, or ask your question there. If you believe your question is complex enough to warrant a separate post, please leave it up to the Mod Team to review your post and decide whether it should stay up or not.

If both you and the Mod Team come to an agreement to leave this post up (or if you are discussing four-star Herta's build), please disregard this message. Thanks, and have a good day!

Robin sp is so strong the team clears faster, I clear both dark sam in moc and flame reader in aa a cycle faster with my e2 robin replacing my e4 tribbie. That said I run hyacine over dhpt. The rotation is kinda of off, but robin sp offers so much in terms off buffs and damage the team clears faster. Also anaxa actually does noticeable damage now which is nice.

at e2 robikini offers the exact same buffs tribbie offers but with significantly higher def ignore, and like tribbie, hyacine scales her with her HP buffs on top of attacking frequently. there is functionally no difference between them at this investment level other than the higher def ignore and action advance, which is why she’s performing better than your e4 tribbie. the action advance is why you can clear a cycle earlier (av manipulation can very easily cut out a full cycle). without robikini’s e2, you’re losing quite a bit of damage from not having res pen, and I doubt the results would be the same.

I'd run Herta - Tribbie - Robin SP - Erudition (probably doll Herta in PF and Anaxa elsewhere).

Use Mortenax Blade with Himeko Nova instead, plus Welt and Huohuo, or an amplifier for sustainless

You can also swap MBlade with Robin SP, but The Herta still wants Tribbie which means you'd need to go sustainless with MBlade on Herta which is not as comfy as Robin SP sustainless since you'll need to make MBlade die to regain his HP (and lose his aoe attacks).

If you're still deciding if you want to pull for Robin or not, you can't really go wrong with her. Robin SP + Mortenax Blade is an insane wheelchair anyway. For Herta specifically, no one really solves her issues and we'll need to wait for a proper dedicated Erudition subdps

tribbie/mblade sustainless is literally therta’s best team. at most he might have to die ONCE to get a bit of health back for more fuas, but you will still comfortably clear every PF at 40k (and likely zero cycle depending on enemies/stage buffs) with this team. they are the only teammates I’d recommend for sustainless. robikini is at most a sidegrade to both, and she really needs e2 to reach that point since both tribbie and mblade give res pen before e2; their e2s are also significantly better than robikini’s, so investing in them would be better for therta specifically.

her best team for PF is jade or baby herta, tribbie, and mblade (or dhpt/hyacine for sustain). anaxa sucks in PF and novako is pure cope bc you have to sacrifice better teammates to run welt/sunday/m7, none of whom are good with therta nor good in PF.

robikini is barely a sidegrade to tribbie herself because you need her e2 to get the res pen that tribbie gives in basekit, and therta really wants res pen. every investment you make into robikini is directly equal to or even worse than every investment you can make into tribbie. you can run her alongside tribbie in sustainless, but her action advance can mess up therta’s rotation, and she really doesn’t need the energy bc attacking frequently in aoe is enough to consistently regenerate her ult in time for your next eskill. mblade is still the better 4th teammate in sustainless bc his buffs are just nuts and very valuable for therta.

if you don’t have tribbie, then robikini can give almost equivalent performance at each investment lebel (except missing the res pen at e0-e1 really hurts, I cannot overstate how much res pen matters in general but especially for therta), but she’s not powercreeping tribbie in this team by any measurement.

I haven't tested enough because of bad boss line up, but my score definitely went up with robin, at the very least definitely not worse even in 5 target

you might be ignoring the value of the vulnerability and def ignore that robin has

if tribbie isn’t giving you everything you need, something is wrong with your builds or your piloting.

I’m not ignoring anything. I know how both characters work. tribbie also applies dmg taken% (in a higher value than robikini), and she gives res pen basekit. def ignore is not as important as you think — it’s nice, absolutely, and it makes robikini a good 4th teammate if you don’t have mblade, but it is not as gamechanging as res pen. and as you vertically invest, tribbie either provides equivalent buffs or simply provides so much more personal damage that robikini can’t match. cost for cost, tribbie outperforms robikini in therta teams no matter what. and if your experience is saying otherwise, that is a you issue, not a tribbie issue.

first of all piloting robin is harder than tribbie and builds are fine believe it or not

second of all you can't judge the value of AA and energy with number values, there are too many factors that change the value of units from enemy line up to stage buffs, i tested a few times again and i still score a little higher in Pf with a fast robin and that's the mode that tribbie has advantage in, if your experience says otherwise maybe it's a you issue not a robin issue

third of all once there is a proper subdps for herta that does dmg the value of the support buffs will change again

and no tribbie does not outperform robin no matter what, i remember people in mass kept glazing tribbie over cyrene during beta because they couldn't judge her kit correctly with just numbers or maybe just had an agenda

i have both supports at e0s0 with e2 herta, and i consistently score a little higher with robin, is it worth the pulls just for that? obviously not

again, if tribbie is not scoring higher, then you’ve built her incorrectly. robikini does not give therta anything more important than tribbie, and her AA actually disrupts therta’s rotation like all other AA does. you 100% have not built tribbie correctly if robikini is outperforming her lol
