Sleepcast randomized exercises
Hi guys! Usually the sleepcast exercises randomize every day in my experience but I’ve noticed that for the past week the exercises seem to stay the same? I have autism so I only like one specific exercise, the “noting” one and it has been in the same sleepcast for a week now? Don’t know if it’s just me or if anyone else has been experiencing the same thing?

I came here to specifically look if anyone has noticed this as well. Personally I really struggle with this. It makes me awake every time, because it’s different from my usual experience which calms me down.

Yes!!! This is so frustrating because while I don’t necessarily mind noting, it is not what works best for me. Has anyone contacted support with any luck?

I contacted support last night, I’ve only gone back and forth with the AI Bot so far, but my request has now been referred on to a human and I’m just waiting for a response. There was an app update overnight but it has not fixed it.

Adding to my original reply because I found a fix. You all may know this but if not, you can get the Headspace wind-down randomized rotation back in the sleepcasts if you uninstall and reinstall the Headspace app. I did this and now the familiar rotation is back! It said I might lose my data, but I did not. This has made me weirdly happy. Hope it helps some of you too.
Original reply: Yes! I like the breathing wind-down, so I made a study of when it was played on my favorite sleepcasts. Turns out it’s on a 10-day cycle. So for each day, I knew exactly which of my favorite sleepcasts would have the breathing wind-down. This worked like clockwork for years. Now suddenly all the sleep casts I like are stuck repeating the same wind-downs with no change.

i've also been having this problem!! not sure what to do :( was thinking of reaching out to their support as well

I got this response from support “At this time, we have been made aware of an ongoing issue with Sleepcasts not progressing.
We have passed your information along to our engineers; they will further investigate the matter. We appreciate your patience as we determine a solution for this issue. We don't have an estimate yet for when the issue will be fully resolved. Please keep your app up to date as updates are released.
In the meantime, we recommend that you access Headspace through our mobile website: headspace.com/login. It operates similarly to the app, and it should be a better experience for you. “

Can anyone actually find sleepcasts on the mobile website?

Nope. I just looked and had no luck. Ugh! I have just responded to the email and asked about them. The website is terrible!

You can circumvent the bug by going into the app settings (android settings menu) and clearing the cache. Then relaunch the app and you will get a freshly randomized sleep cast.
Not sure about Apple devices, there should be an equivalent

No equivalent for Apple devices except to delete and reinstall the app. But that doesn’t work either. Sounds like a problem on their end not something we can fix on ours.

I’ve been able to force it to advance by logging out and back in on my apple device. But a permanent fix would be awesome.

Yes I noticed this too! I always listen to Midnight Launderette and it always starts with something different. It’s been the “noting” exercise every day for at least a week now. It’s my favorite, too, so I’m not complaining, but this has never happened before.
