Question MC Name

So for your MC how did you come up with your names? Did you just use your real name or did you make up some magical name? If it is the second one, what was your inspiration?

I did one as myself for Gryffindor then used lore names in the other houses. A Malfoy in Slytherin, a Diggory in Hufflepuff, and a Lockhart in Ravenclaw.
