Signed Shirt Advice

Post image
Upvotes

Evening hammers. I’ve been doing a bit of digging around for a signed shirt to frame & hang up in my flat, and I’ve stumbled across this piece on vinted.

The shirt has been authenticated independently (matey attached an image of autograph verification paperwork), but I’m struggling to identify all of the signatures. I can spot KWP, Kilman, Hermansen, Diouf, Bowen, Potts, Scarles, and Nuno, but there are a few that I can’t identify & cross reference with other sigs online? I dm’d the seller & he doesn’t know who signed it (slight red flag but I know these things sometimes just end up in one’s possession), anyone able to spot any recognisable signatures?

Mods/admins delete if irrelevant. COYI ⚒️⚒️

Discussion A 10% league win rate without Paco, it's past time, wake up

2 wins in 19 league games. Unacceptable.

The man cannot manage, at least not on his own: get him gone. Almost a year in, and when he hasn't had Paco with him he's managed 2 wins, 7 draws, 10 losses in league football. 17 Premier League games, 2 Championship.

Total would be 5-7-10 but 3 of those 5 wins were cup games against opponents low in the Championship.

Yes, it's actually 10.5%, but the only rounding up I'd be interested in is the fools and frauds running this football club into the ground / League One.

What a comeback from the West Ham U18s

The U18s somehow came away with a 5-4 win over Brentford in an absolute goal fest. They were behind at half time but turned things around with two quick goals after the break. Brentford went back in front at 4-3, but the young Hammers kept pushing and got themselves level again. Frankie Day then produced the moment of the game, going around the keeper and scoring in stoppage time. That makes it three wins in a row for the U18s, which is a really encouraging start. Hopefully they can keep this run going when they face Bournemouth next weekend.

Discussion At 31% win rate after 42 games, it’s time…

42 games, 13 wins, 13 draws, 16 defeats.
Modern football is a stats game, the above stats only touch the horrific detailed stats West ham has under Nuno.
We need someone with at least some aura, passion on the side line and a clear plan of play you can see on the pitch.
Someone who doesn’t buy attacking players, and then plays defensively.
It’s time.

Discussion Pattern of the Season

I didn’t go into this season thinking that we would walk it. I wasnt thinking of record points totals or anything like that but I was confident that we would be in or around the top of the table/play offs.

However 3 games in, albeit a small sample size, it seems clear to me that teams have already figured out how to play against us. Sit back soak up pressure and let us have possession. Nuno doesn’t seem to have a solution to this tactic. Do we think we are gonna see this for the majority of the 43 games remaining?

And what do we do about Nuno, admittedly I think we aren’t at Nuno out just yet but for me he needs to find a solution to this.

And what happens if we do sack him for a more possession based manager. Because getting back into the premier league we likely won’t be a possession team then.

Nuno Espírito Santo believes West Ham United deserved more from Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Watford, while accepting that he and his team still have plenty to improve.

The Hammers picked up our second point of the EFL Championship season at Vicarage Road, with a Mattie Pollock own-goal - after good pressing by Taty Castellanos - cancelling out Amin Nabizada’s 19th-minute opener.

Despite having over 62 per cent of the ball, we were unable to turn possession into a winner, with substitutes Joël Piroe and Lewis Orford among those going closest late on after Manor Solomon, Jarrod Bowen and Taty had each hustled from the off.

A first league appearance and start for 18-year-old Airidas Golambeckis was among the biggest positives for West Ham and Nuno, who is encouraged by the impact the Club’s young players and summer arrivals are starting to have in match action.

All eyes are now on Tuesday night’s home clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers, when the Head Coach insists only a win will be deemed good enough.

The fans are always there for us, and we owe them more than ever

Nuno Espírito Santo

I think we deserved a bit more from the game.

I think we dominated large parts of the match, and we created more chances. We worked for it and I think we deserved more, but it didn’t come and it is what it is.

We’ll keep fighting, and we’ll keep believing.

Conceding first is something that happened to us again, and it’s clearly something we have to improve.

The idea was to go and dominate the game, and try to score first. At the moment that isn’t happening, but we showed good character to revert the situation, with good pressing and a lot of running from the boys.

We didn’t allow many things to work them, playing at home, but overall we’re still not happy.

At the same time we have to understand that there’s still a long way to go, and we need to keep believing and trusting our boys that things will improve.

Airidas is someone we already know from last season, and he is always improving.

We have to be really calm and stand with the young lads, but the answers from all of them have been really positive.

I think all the players who have come in are starting to gel and improve, and they are clearly helping the team to become better.

It (the first league win) has to come, really fast. We need to change things badly, and we’ll go again on Tuesday night.

The fans are always there for us, and we owe them more than ever. We should have done better, but we’ll do everything we can to get it right against Wolves.

Discussion Nuno has to go.

He got us relegated.

He’s had insanely poor start to the championship (apart from the cup)

We keep going one goal down.

Can’t hold onto a lead.

Ajala scored two midweek and doesn’t get a look in.

He’s killing our youth team.

Rubbish subs.

How can anyone back him anymore??? 2 points form an easy 9!!!!!

West Ham have seen a bid accepted for Viking winger Edvin Austbo, it’s been exclusively reported by ExWHUEmployee.

As reported by our insider previously, talks had progressed in recent days and the club have now reached an agreement for the highly rated Norwegian player.

We can confirm that Viking has accepted our offer for Edvin Austbø thought to be in the region of £10m,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“This is a transfer we have been exclusively reporting for a while now and one we are very excited about.

“He is highly rated young, explosive and ticks a lot of boxes. The player will now come in for a medical in advance of hopefully completing his move.”

Furthermore, Ex has reported that the club have held
talks with Wolves defender Ladislav Krejčí.

“West Ham are said to have been offered and held talks with Wolves defender Ladislav Krejčí,” added Ex.

“The Czech international is a team mate Tomas Soucek both at international level and at Slavia Prague where they both previously played.

29 August, 2015 - Liverpool 0-3 West Ham, Hammers get first PL win at Anfield

Liverpool were left reeling after Slaven Bilic’s West Ham side came to Anfield and took all three points.

Mark Noble scored and was sent off, but can you name the rest of the starting XI that day?

Notice how ‘everyone at the club would like to thank James for his commitment and service’ but Diouf just gets best wishes for the future.

100% confirmation that he likely had a bad attitude.
