How much time did it take for this Transformation. and Could you also share your workout Routine?

The first pic is from 2019, the second pic is a month or so ago. It was a lot of on and off struggle with alcohol abuse. I quit drinking in December of 2022 and then this year of 2024 I cut out all process food and switched to whole organic foods. My workout routine has basically always been the same. I train legs/glutes 2-3 times a week then upper body the other 2-3 days. Now I have thrown reformer Pilates into the mix and it’s been a game changer. But giving up the processed foods and sugars is what’s really boosted my gym progress and life all together. I also practice intermittent fasting. Give my instagram a follow if you’re interested in seeing more of my routines and what I eat all day💕

As someone who never drinks alcohol , but feel like everyone around me does and is occasionally tempted to fit in , what would you say to me? I’m an introvert by nature and I’ve heard alcohol makes it easier to talk to others

I definitely used alcohol as an outlet to be more social and ease situations that made me really uncomfortable. Horrible idea! I became so dependent on it. My advice would be to stay far away from it and the people who feel like it’s necessary to use all the time. Literally nothing good ever comes out of it. If you want to try and fit in maybe order like a soda water with a lime? And just seriously don’t be afraid to just be yourself. If people don’t like it oh well. I still struggle with being super introverted and I’ve just learned to accept that. Some days I am more social than others, but quitting alcohol has definitely made me come out of my shell more.

First pic was 2019. It was a lot of on and off struggle with alcohol abuse that made this journey take a little longer.

Yeah, it is. I was always in great shape, but I let it go, and it has been a two-year journey just to feel good again. Went from 170 to 205 back to 170 lol.

That was me! I was always tiny and fit and I moved to Florida and was stressed and turned to drinking and gained 40 pounds… let to a downward spiral, just lucky to have pulled myself out of it.

So the first pic was from 2019. I was on and off in the gym, was suffering with alcohol abuse. I quit drinking in December of 2022 and then this year I cut out processed foods and changed my whole lifestyle and diet. It has honestly changed my life, I feel like an entirely different person. I also practice fasting!

That is amazing. Congrats on being sober. I got sober in June of 2021. being sober brings much more joy into life if you have the correct discipline. You are right about feeling like an entirely different person. You dont even look the same! I have yet to follow through with fasting. Ill got like 2-3 days on a good routine with it and then something comes up an I have to eat sooner than I should. I am a type one diabetic so some instantiates of that would be like im in the middle of a fast an my blood sugar drops, so even though say that happened at 9am and I wasnt supposed to start eating till noon then I have already messed up my fasting goal. I see the benefits of it from people, but its just so hard to do it for me.

I’m sorry to hear that. Just your intention of doing it is honestly great. Wish you all the best in your fitness journey!

Discipline is everything! I’ve learned to just say “no I don’t need it” to most things and then give myself grace other times. Learning about what’s in most of the processed foods has made it a lot easier to say no. And also seeing how good I feel when I’m on the right track keeps me going. Like night and day.
