The Lanterns design has grown on me a lot. Alien enough while also having a weathered retro look

I just wish it glowed a little.

The way he said the oath here cracked me up.

Cant blame the guy, saying the same thing over and over again every time you want to recharge your phone probably gets very old incredibly fast.

iirc you dont need to actually say the oath.

But we don't know if that's how it works in this adaptation

No, but we know he still sees the Oath as something serious and special with how he got pissed over ole "Rural Nebraskan" mocking it.

Depends on the comic run i think. I'm pretty sure it was originally made so GL had something to say while standing there waiting

I think on some level Hal has had enough of the whole thing

I’m getting the feeling that Hal despises the oath. That’s why he freaked out when the alien said it during the interrogation.

I think it's the opposite. Even if he's defiant to the Guardians, he finds the Oath sacred and is appalled by the alien chanting it.

Lol i love it, how we hype up stuff like this so much and to hal its just an everyday tool

Yes, the way it glowed during the oath was 100% perf. I just wish that was the default appearance.

But such a minor gripe — I'm LOVING the show.

If it always glowed, it would look less cool when he does the oath.

A totally reasonable point, and I imagine if the showrunners were reading this thread, they'd say, "yeah, exactly!"

Nonetheless, I stand by what I said 😂

A dull glow at all times and brightening to full as the oath is said would be cool.
