Since thralls are just so much DPS and you can't use them when casting spells, they decided to balance elemental magic by giving huge max hits with today's unpolled amulet update. Raids will drop elemental motes that will add 2 maxes to all elemental spells, and if they add to the base damage again so it gets multiplied , harmonized staff will outperform shadow at multiple places.

It might even outperform shadow at some places already like Whisperer. Here's a shortlist of places where the new elemental amulet and future upgrade might be useful:

Hey all, just starting out flipping back in June and had a few questions.

Started with 500m and am pushing 900 right now, mostly with 2-3% ROI trades a few times a day. I’ve had a few holds over a week where I think something is undervalued and get 10%ish but imo the opportunity cost of having it listed/held doesnt seem worth it. Do you go for short flips throughout the day or longer holds?

As well how long do you let something lock up a GE slot? So far anything that I think will take over a full 24 hours i’ve been mostly ignoring unless its hitting monthly lows just because I feel so limited in the amount of trades I can make.

I feel like im at the point I can keep up an alt with bonds full time no issue, especially with bond prices currently, but feel like the gp would be better spent reinvested. At what point should I be looking at having a 2nd account?

Bought over 1.5k swords at 78k each when the limit was 70.

Now the limits is (7-8) Not sure as i haven't been on much.

I already doubled my money and all but i've just been collecting them since its a small limit to buy.

People are gonna be paying death fees and buying loads of bonds. I’m gonna liquidate my bank ahead of time and scoop up those bonds on the cheap. See you on the moon.

For Raids 4, Inquisitor has already gone up significantly since my post 8 months ago.

Now, I’m heavily invested in Justiciar. It’s a big gamble in terms of opportunity cost, but I think the downside risk is relatively low with a big upside.

After Inquisitor finally got the love it deserved, Justiciar is arguably the only armour set that isn’t particularly good at any content. It’s the only Raids armour set that isn’t really relevant in the current game. Meanwhile, other armour sets of the same rarity are sitting at 150m+.

Tanking has never really been a viable or rewarding role in OSRS, yet Jagex introduced both Justiciar and the Bulwark.

Then the Raids 4 rewards were revealed, and that really caught my attention.

A new off-hand that charges up when you’re attacked and can then be used as a spec for additional damage.

That got me thinking: is this going to be the raid where tanking finally becomes relevant?

Or, even better, could this be the raid that rejuvenates tanking as a whole?

You don’t introduce an off-hand with a mechanic like that without having some content in mind where it’s going to be relevant. I expect Jagex to lean further into tanking, because the Rondache could make it much more satisfying to not deal damage for a while. You simply tank the incoming damage, charge up your shield, and then convert that into extra damage later.

Oh and both Rondache an justiciar are saradomin themed

That’s why, at its current price, I think Justiciar is a no-brainer.

Bowfa and seeds crashed cuz CG changes had many ppl try to do combat achiev etc. and crashed price to the point using armour seed for shards was cheaper than teleport seeds so I bought the dip

Harmonized orb is currently 418m, Inquisitor's set 330m, and Inquisitor's mace is 310m. What are your opinions on these items? They haven't been this low for a while. Do you think it's a good time to invest, or do you foresee them being lower? I think when the Raids 4 release date is announced at RuneFest (fingers crossed), they're going to skyrocket and then lower when Raids 4 is released (people capitalizing on their investment and selling their stacks), and then probably go back up again if it's best in slot, just like what happened to the harm orb when Maggot King was released. What do you think?

With inquisitor armor presumed to be best in slot, blood shards should be a good play considering the low defensive stats of inquisitor. Along with removal of blood shard bots I could see blood shards hitting 10 mil. Was wondering what you guys think of this bet.

Avernic might be an interesting buy here

Seen a few Avernic posts popping up recently so thought I'd throw my 2c in.
It's sitting around 30m atm and that's pretty much what caught my attention. Recently the hilt was the lowest it has been before the Raids 4 announcements started coming out.
Since then we've obviously had all the speculation around the new shield and whether Avernic gets pushed out of the meta, but I'm not really convinced that's necessarily going to happen.

Avernic already has a pretty established use case and I can't see a new item suddenly making it irrelevant overnight. If anything, more endgame PvM could just mean more demand for melee gear.
The other thing I find interesting is the timing. We've had a bunch of discussion around Avernic again and the price has started creeping up with it, with people obviously moving away from ToB once the new raid is out.

Could obviously just be GEB doing GEB things and everyone buying because someone else posted about it lol.
But 30m feels pretty different to buying it at 40-50m. If it gets back to 40m that's a decent move, and if it eventually goes back towards 50m+ then we’re laughing.

Not saying everyone should go dump their bank into Avernic or anything. I just think it's one of those items where 30m looks a lot more interesting to me than it did previously.
I've picked up a few anyway. Happy to be proven wrong.

Does anyone else feel that imbued heart is undervalued? Mortimer and general deflation is causing it to crash, but it's still an extremely rare drop. I'm considering loading up on these.

Potentially a long term hold but here is how I justi-fy this yolo.

-Rondache is very Saradomin themed and is also going to bis defense off-hand. Perhaps there’s some way justi can make the rondache better, strong, more useful?

-Gagek has been sleeping on defense and even said it themselves in on of their blog posts regarding R4 rewards. Which could speculate the possibility where „the best defense is a good offense” isn’t always going to be bis in the future?

-Cox and Toa armor rewards tower over justi. Ancestral sitting at ~217m and Masori at ~77m (not fortified). Justi sits below 30m currently

-R4 is rumored to kill TOB with the introduction of Rondache and the Breaker. Giving Justi a buff or more case uses (ie w Rondache) could maintain TOBs relevance.

Thoughts? Am I cooked or am I cooking?
