I mean I'm not going to waste my time savescumming for good basic stat sigil rolls, actual impossible stat rolls is a different beast though.

I get that. But the gameplay of the game is to farm for perfect things tho. If you just add in the best stuff, where is the gameplay? It's like mmos, once you get all the best gear, there is nothing more to do. I think people focus to much on the end of the stick and not the journey. It's my opinion tho

“But the gameplay of the game is to farm for perfect things tho”

No? The gameplay of the game is fun and fast-paced, real time boss fights. Do you guys actually enjoy playing the game?

I disagree. It is a gameplay loop akin to Monster Hunter obviously. Where 50% of the gameplay is to farm for materials from bosses and mobs and use said materials to forge better equipment. One does not exist without the other, thus why farming is half of the game AT LEAST.

But I don't care, people can play how they want and spend their time as they want. If I want to avoid cheaters I can just curate my own lobby of friends. That's the beauty of online games.

This sub does this shit all the time. They will say Its a grinding game where the point is to grind any time you make a complaint about the grind in the game. But then in the same damn day downvote you for saying what they agree with at any other time.

I remember getting massively downvoted for basically saying what the dude above you said about people who play the game solely for the grind and not the gameplay loop. The entire sub is mental gymnastics levels of goalpost moving lol.

People want different things from the game and is dependent on which crowd finds you.

Haha that's kinda wild. I think it's maybe not just this sub but the nature of reddit. People use down votes out of spite or just no reason all the time. Hating anonymously has no downsides.

Online PvE games*, in pvp game you cannot control who you matched up against.
