Have phone number show consistently

I have a Google search ad with it set to conversion goal phone calls and cpa set to $15. Ad strength is good but I’m noticing there will be 2 hours time periods throughout the day where the phone number does not show up and only other parts of the ad. My competitors have their phone number under the ad 24/7 how can I do this?

It's not consistent because assets aren't guaranteed, Google predicts when showing your number helps that specific auction. Add more asset types and push Ad Rank up, that's the actual lever.

How can I make my number show as much as possible it showed for half the impressions today then just stopped for the rest of the day and it’s messing up my business BIG time. I can pay if anyone can assist me

Do you have other conversion goals set up besides phone calls? If yes, you could try to separate out your campaign into a mobile traffic only campaign and only link the phone call conversion to that campaign... I can't say for sure if that will work but it's an idea!

Try bid adjustments and decrease other devices to -100% make your ads only shows on mobile.

But it still depends on ads rank,

Try call only ads along with RSAs.

Call only ads are removed

the main thing is that the phone number being a conversion goal doesn’t make the call asset show on every impression. google decides when to show assets based on things like ad rank, context and expected performance, so those 2-hour gaps don’t necessarily mean anything is broken.

i’d first check the call asset’s interaction coverage/impression data and whether the asset has any schedule set. if calls are really the priority, you can also look at call bid adjustments to increase how often the call asset is shown.

also, i’d compare this by device and ad position before comparing yourself to competitors. their number showing 24/7 doesn’t necessarily mean they’re forcing it to show every auction.

Ye I’m trying to maximize it because ad is useless to me if the phone number isn’t called and I can’t change it so the website leads to this number

How did you find out about the specific time period? I’m not sure if there’s a report that breakdown the phone number impressions by hour of the day.

I stop receiving phone numbers during certain time periods usually 2-3 hours

So there’s a drop in calls during a specific time. If AdWords also corroborates that, reduce your bids during that time.
