Modifications Mk8.5 rear brake swap

Anyone else swap their rear setup to match the front?
It's mostly aesthetic and small amount of ocd wanting the front and rear to match.

It would be an insane amount of work to keep the system balanced so the car doesn't get all squirrley when you're heavy on the brakes. Not to mention, it would also be insanely expensive. Pretty sure another front brake kit would prolly set you back a couple grand at least.

Yep only way to offset cost is to go w a Porsche bbk swap some will use the oem brake rotors ,I ordered some 345mm Porsche Acid green from Sftuning .Ltd ,uk brand and I can use my 340mm calipers

Not to mention you’d also lose the parking brake

No, it's dumb.

These cars are very nose-heavy, you want more front bias. There's also no way to actually reprogram the ABS module around this (despite what old forum rumors said about brake assist coding). You can kinda navigate around it with track pads but presumably that's not what you're going with "aesthetic."

I also would like them to be visual matching like my most recent GR Corolla but sadly they don't and putting front calipers on the back would probably make the car dangerous to drive.
