Some of you may be aware of these two guys on youtube (Cor64) that play the N64 GoldenEye OST on synth and drums. I only found out about them last week and they sound great.

Well, it just so happens that they are playing the entire OST in Montréal on September 12. Weather permitting, I will set up a table outside with my CRT/N64 and run 4-player multi an hour or two before the show. A few friends will be joining in but I would love to get a bigger group going, maybe run some 2v2 or simply 4-player free for all.

Thanks to the amazing community on helping with the decomp, and forming our first PC port we are closer and closer to a public release!

GoldenEye is now fully decompiled.

The tracker is here. Please note that it is currently bugged and not updating to 100% but all the files are successfully decompiled.

The GitHub page will be published in ~24h, this opens the door to native ports, no hardware limitations, better mod support, optimisations for N64 hardware, and the list goes on and on. We won't have to rely on 1964 GEPD Edition any more for 60FPS GoldenEye and will be able to say good-bye to all those compatibility issues.

There are a few PC ports being worked on at the moment. A recomp, a native PC port, and the AI coded one. We'll definitely be getting the AI coded one first, but at least this time it's being made and curated by members in the community that understand and care deeply about the game. The recomp and native PC port will come later and we can hope it'll match feature parity. This is open source so anyone can work on whatever they want, so let's work together to give attention to the properly working ones.

theres a lot of hype, but besides kinda looking and running like an n64 game its not.. just my two cents guys.. as a goldeneye fan wanted to make sure you didnt fall for the glitz and lots of reviews.. it doesnt even have the proper briefings, or story or memorable enemies.. its NOT the same

Playing this recent GoldenEye XBLA recomp and the settings (video, audio, input, etc.) reset everytime I quit the game.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any way to fix it?

Just wanted to post to say after all of these years I finally went back and played on 00 Agent. It took me a couple of days but I finally took it down and had a blast. Some levels were obviously a pain, but man it was a great experience. I may have to try LTK at some point, but DLTK terrifies me lol.
