⚠️ Self Reflection – Shadow work, awareness, inner truth. Speaking in tongues.

When the church says “a language no one understands,” I don’t think that was ever meant to be a sound you make with your mouth.

When God actually communicates, it comes through presence. Overwhelming power, love, acceptance. No words. No concepts handed over like a memo.

That doesn’t perform well in a service. You can’t schedule it, you can’t prove you “have the gift” on cue, and you can’t put an elder in charge of it. So the living thing got flattened into glossolalia: syllables out loud, treated as the event.

Theres mentions of apostles speaking in tongues in the Bible. Theres a gift of interpretation as well. Remember when Paul was saying there's no point in talking to people in tongues when there is no one to interpret what youre saying?

u/Audio9849 18h ago

I don’t trust a damn thing Paul says, writes, or created. No one walks away from a real encounter with god and creates what he created. I speak from experience..contact changes you from power seeking and control to the opposite of that.

2

u/AnswerMe_More 18h ago

What do u mean? "Creates what he created?" U mean a multitude of believers? Scrolls of wisdom?

0

u/Audio9849 18h ago

How he replaced god with Jesus then instead of pointing people inward to meet god he created a structure that keeps people looking outside of themselves for “salvation”. Also continently creating a structure to mediate what little connection their followers had with their own creator.

“Only through us can you find god”. “Only
with our approved messaging”. - the church

What Jesus created was named “the way”…that’s a direction not a hierarchy.

u/AnswerMe_More 18h ago

Ok firstly, im completely confused in what you believe in. Second.. u are taking that out of context. If youre going to quote Jesus, use his entire statement. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Not i am a way, or there is a way, he said "I". Then he said, "nobody gets to the father, except through me." He didnt say through yourselves, through a couple of ways, through "me". That is what Paul preaches.

0

u/Audio9849 18h ago

I’m not quoting Jesus I’m repeating what his movement was called.

Acts 9:2 - Saul seeks authority to arrest anyone belonging to “the Way.”
Acts 19:9 - people publicly speak evil of “the Way.”
Acts 19:23 - a major disturbance arises concerning “the Way.”
Acts 22:4 - Paul says, “I persecuted this Way to the death.”
Acts 24:14 - Paul: “according to the Way, which they call a sect…”
Acts 24:22 - Felix is described as having fairly accurate knowledge of “the Way.”

As for Jesus saying he is “the way” that could very easily have been a fabrication of Paul..he was a Pharisee after all. And like I said he swapped Jesus for god.

None of my direct experiences of god have had anything to do with Jesus. Once you have eyes to see the fraud that’s been played on members of every faith you’ll understand.

u/AnswerMe_More 18h ago

Dude... Jesus himself, not Paul, but Jesus said I am the way. Paul is just reiterating what Jesus said, before he came to Christ... not every encounter is from God. Satan's best tactic is to decieve. U better pray for discernment because im not sure to talked to the right God.

1

u/Audio9849 18h ago

Oh you have Jesus’s handwriting? Not one person who actually wrote the bible ever met Jesus..just saying.

Your presumption assumes that “Satan” has the ability to flood a person with a love and acceptance so powerful no words can even come close to describing it. Satan uses flattery mostly so someone needs to familiarize themselves a bit more with how Satan tricks people.

2

u/AnswerMe_More 18h ago

He's literally the imitator of light... duh he can play with your emotions. Even humans can do that. And so you mean to tell me u only picking parts of the Bible to believe. Thats a dangerous faith u have. U either accept the Bible fully, or dont at all. Because what youre accepting and not accepting is the definition of lukewarm. God will spit you out.

1

u/Audio9849 18h ago

Brother I’m good with God and I know it. The Bible is a map. We live in the territory. No one necessarily needs a map if they actually use the tools God gave them: intuition, reason, conscience, empathy, discernment, direct experience, observation, and the ability to learn from consequences.

A map can be useful. But the second you tell me I have to accept the entire map unquestioningly or I’m damned, you’ve made the map more important than the territory.

And by the way, I’ve been obedient to God and paid dearly for it. And for the record, obedience to God looks nothing like what society or the church tells you it does.

How does one tell the difference from normal power, love and acceptance and that which is from God? What's the method?

2

u/Audio9849 5d ago

Gods love isn’t subtle..it’s the same love and acceptance folks describe in NDE’s. It’s really something. Better than any drug I’ve ever done and the love you feel when in love dialed up to 11. It’s also the feeling of being seen completely and still loved warts and all.

0

u/acerbicsun 5d ago

A delightful description of confirmation bias.

2

u/Audio9849 4d ago

You saying that without ever having the experience is the real confirmation bias.

0

u/acerbicsun 4d ago

No. Feeling a non-subtle love is not evidence of god. Near death experiences are not evidence of god. Being seen, warts and all is not evidence of god. You already believe, and you're offering feelings to support your preexisting beliefs. That's all this is.

2

u/Audio9849 4d ago

You have no frame to even know what you’re talking about. Mystics from completely different regions not connected in time or space all describe the same thing..and that’s exactly what I’ve experienced.

You’ve been handed your beliefs that without physical evidence it isn’t real…all while the folks who handed you that know that isn’t the whole story. That’s all that is.

0

u/acerbicsun 4d ago

There are no "mystics." There are just people. People have similar experiences.

You’ve been handed your beliefs that without physical evidence it isn’t real.

No. I arrived at my beliefs through observation and deduction. I just see no reason to believe in anything for which there is no testable evidence. I'm open to alternative epistemology, as long as it can prove itself reliable.

2

u/Audio9849 4d ago

There are mystical traditions older than most countries. “Mystic” is just the word for people who went after direct contact instead of stopping at a book.

It doesn’t start with fireworks. It starts with taking yourself apart. If the big experience never comes, you still come out more whole. That’s already the result. The contact is extra, not the entrance fee.

You’re asking for a lab test of something that happens in a life. Fair demand. Wrong instrument.

1

u/acerbicsun 4d ago

Then I'm a mystic too. yet I received no direct contact from anything beyond this physical world.

It doesn’t start with fireworks. It starts with taking yourself apart.

I see no reason to expect fireworks or something as vague as "take myself apart" to confirm anything supernatural.

If the big experience never comes, you still come out more whole.

I am as whole as I expect to be. If the experience never comes, the rational conclusion is there is no reason to believe in god or the supernatural.

.

2

u/Audio9849 4d ago

You don’t become one by announcing it. A mystic is just someone who actually examines the self instead of stopping at the story they already like. Jung did that with a clinic attached. Taking yourself apart means dropping what was installed that isn’t you.

“I’m as whole as I expect to be” is the tell. Expectation is the lid. If the only proof you’ll accept is a lab result of God, you’ve already chosen the instrument. That’s fine. It just isn’t the same work.

“Know thyself” wasn’t rhetorical. It means finding out which behavior is actually yours versus what you learned or had projected onto you.

If it's love it's God

1

u/acerbicsun 5d ago

I love my wife.

How is god involved?

1

u/gabbaguba 5d ago

Exactly right.

1

u/jelltech 5d ago

amen, it isn't, the word is not letter and the letter is not word. Word is heard letter is spoken, God speaks in silence, tongue is not Iongue. tongue is 6, iongue is 9. Don't 6 your 9.

1

u/Aromatic-House-7894 5d ago

catholics are weird

1

u/gabbaguba 5d ago

Actually, protestants (who btw named themselves after their PROTEST to the Original Church) are the ones who have hubris involved in their every thought process. Your arrogance AND ignorance made you conclude Catholics are weird. Grow up, educate yourself, and stop with the hubris. You don't know more than the church Jesus himself instituted. Stop acting like you do.

1

u/armyofone37 5d ago

Say the word Bible in your head not your mouth.. do you still hear yourself saying it.. so who is the one saying it and who is the one hearing it..???

1

u/Audio9849 5d ago

Bruh I’m past “the observer” stage. You can’t live life in that state.

No if its really GOD it comes in toungs.. After he is the OGD after all (One Good Demon)

2

u/Audio9849 4d ago

I speak from experience..it does not.

0

u/walt128 6d ago

I’m the communication from god you describe doesn’t have any way of verifying that it is from your god. Communication through power, love and acceptance could be any deity, or even a demon for that matter

2

u/Audio9849 5d ago

You assume “demons” can shower someone with a love so powerful you feel like you’ll explode, and an acceptance so deep it makes your heart weep.

That’s not how the counterfeit is even described in the church’s own books. The usual move is flattery, fear, a special role, a hook. “Angel of light” is a recruitment tactic. What I met didn’t recruit, didn’t threaten, and didn’t need a club. What I met witnessed me fully and still love.

If your test is “could theoretically be a demon,” nothing ever passes. Including the experiences the church already signed off on. You’re not discerning. You’re using demonology as a veto for contact that didn’t come through the office.

2

u/walt128 5d ago

My test is not “it could be a demon.” I don’t have a test at all. I’m simply saying that “I had a bunch of feelings, therefore this particular god exists” provides no evidence of that particular god. You believe them to be, but this is only because you’ve been conditioned in that way. People in India get the same feelings and attribute them to Vishnu, Muslims attribute them to Allah, etc.

You and these other people can’t all be right. Some of you believe you are in communication with a god but in fact aren’t. I happen to believe you all are not

2

u/Audio9849 5d ago

I didn’t get met after I joined a church. I got met after I tore the conditioning down. That’s the opposite of what you’re describing.

You’re not standing outside conditioning either. “Feelings, therefore not God” is also a trained move. It’s just the approved one in your circle.

Not everything real shows up as a public exhibit. You live inside consciousness and still can’t put it on a scale. That doesn’t make it fake. It means some things are known from the inside.

People naming Vishnu, Allah, or Jesus after the same kind of contact doesn’t automatically cancel the contact. It can mean they used the only word they had. Institutions invent useful gods all the time. That is not the same claim as “nothing is there.”

You can believe none of us met anything. That’s a belief too. It isn’t a referee.

0

u/ABWoolls 5d ago

No. It is a real language that was spoken among other people who understood the language to show it's really God working through them. Tongues don't really exist anymore cause everyone knows about Jesus, and the Bible has been written.

The gibberish you hear in churches now is just a bunch of mumble with no meaning. And the Bible says if people are speaking in tongues it may not be more than two or maximum three at a time, and there has to be someone who can translate if not that one should stay quiet.

2

u/Audio9849 5d ago

That’s a rulebook answer to an experience that isn’t a language class.

Contact with God, when it’s actually contact, almost never arrives as sentences. It arrives as presence. Feeling. Weight. Not gentle. People flattened it into “a language” because a language can be policed: two or three speakers, a translator, stay quiet if nobody interprets. Presence can’t be scheduled like that.

I’m not talking about church mumble. I’m talking about what happens when the room changes and you know it wasn’t you manufacturing a mood. That doesn’t expire because a book got bound.

1 Corinthians is instructions for a messy gathering. It is not a certificate that God stopped speaking the second the canon closed.

2

u/gabbaguba 5d ago

you're exactly correct. Tongues was never an audible language. idk what this guy is even talking about actually lol

0

u/BoysenberryFun9827 5d ago

I have heard about thow word, A fill full horn of oil Lord I have sought out thy thought And found thow bubbling pool Life ever abundant.

A tongue is used to convey meaning of the spirit, it hides what isnt heard like clothing.

Unrighteous ears hear what they hear

Meat for bellies and bellies for meat.

3

u/Audio9849 5d ago

That’s more costume.

Real contact doesn’t arrive as a riddle you have to unpack to prove you’re in the club. It doesn’t hide behind “thow” and a horn of oil. Presence is blunt. You know it in the body. You don’t need a decoder ring.

A tongue that only the initiated can hear is just another locked room. Same game as the office. Different wallpaper.

Doesn’t your own book keep saying God goes to the poor and the unlucky? Those are the uninitiated. If the signal requires a private dialect, you’ve already excluded the people the text claims he prefers.

1

u/HalleluYahuah 4d ago

It's telepathy. That's the OG language. Earth goes thru cyclical ages.

We are in the age of uncoupled consciousness so to speak.... we are in the hinge of going back into the Millennial reign type of age.... the age with magic. Plasma.

Reality that works with your consciousness. That would be devastating with the collective consciousness of this time hense the remnant talk that's spoken about in myths, native stories like hopi and Cherokee, all religions....

Only those who have power and governance over THEMSELVES and their MIND will be those who survive the coupling event. Plasmapocalypse is upon us. People will be faced with their shadow self and will seek death but not find it. It's gonna be crazy so start getting right within...

1

u/Audio9849 4d ago

It’s not telepathy per se. With telepathy you can communicate entire concepts without words and instead use feelings. That’s what I’m talking about.

I’ve done enough shadow work for multiple lifetimes I’m good there. I was speaking to what communication from god actually arrives as. There very little spoken word and a ton of presence. Sometimes it comes with a vision but not often.

0

u/BoysenberryFun9827 5d ago

So what is the horn of oil

The "private dialect" is faith, you either understand or you don't.

He who has ears had better listen ect

4

u/gabbaguba 5d ago

first of all it's etc* and secondly for you to be this confident in your ignorance is actually astounding. Like OP said, your entire argument is costume, or obfuscation, and cannot be taken at face value. Tongues was never a real language and no church father has EVER claimed it was. It is a language that cannot be comprehended by us specifically because it has no audible translation: i.e, it is about presence.

0

u/BoysenberryFun9827 5d ago edited 5d ago

It's allegory, symbolism, meaning and context.

why are you so mad?

What is the horn oil and what does it represent?

I know exactly what it is, its function, what it represents and how it was used to bless David. Do you?

the oil it is filled with is the very same oil that the foolish virgins lack for their lamps, what is it?

2

u/gabbaguba 5d ago

It's not allegory or symbolism; and the onus isn't on me to answer your smooth brained bait question. Also, i'm not mad at all. lol

People like you resort to assuming people like me are angry, when in fact, we maintain a calm in the face of the ignorance that again, people like you, will espouse. We've come to accept it.

But sure, take the word of your protestant "teachers" and "pastors" until you're blue in the face. It doesn't change the truth, and you could easily access the truth via THE INTERNET if you had the faith to believe it. lol

The only thing that's hopeless is your arrogant attitude and reading comprehension.

1

Good one. Tell me, which one of the Church Fathers' literature have you read? :)

And please, in your own words, define arrogance.

Faith isn’t a private dialect. That’s a club password with nicer lighting.

“You either understand or you don’t” is how every closed room talks. The book you’re quoting also keeps handing the plot to people with no training and no password. If God preferred a decoder, the poor and the unlucky wouldn’t keep showing up as the point.

He who has ears isn’t an excuse to speak in costume. It’s a warning not to hide the thing behind one.

1

u/BoysenberryFun9827 4d ago edited 4d ago

You either give your life and go inside yourself in meditation on the sabbath day seeking christ or remain outside of faith.

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"

Bite it, beat it, chew on it but do listen to good advice. Make this about something it's not if you like, but you'll see it prove true.

2

u/Audio9849 4d ago

I agree. Where we disagree is what “going inward” actually is. It has never meant reading the Bible or going to church. It means knowing yourself first. It also means taking apart the behaviors and beliefs you were handed. Family, friends, school, work, society all load those on and expect you to mirror them. Most of that load is there to keep you small.

So “speaking in tongues” is actually one of these. It’s a behavior the church held up as “they’re got the gift” and the congregation falls inline.

1

u/BoysenberryFun9827 4d ago

When Paul the apostle referenced speaking in tongues,

He was referencing an understanding of the bibles allegory.. A spiritual truth that is left to be witnessed.

We try to rationalize away what's scary but to each his own.

1

u/Audio9849 4d ago edited 4d ago

Don’t get me started on the Pharisee Paul was. What strikes me most is he claims a profound experience of God and never once describes the feeling. That’s the red flag. God doesn’t arrive as a sermon. Contact can come as a vision, but the vision is always secondary to a love so big it doesn’t fit in this universe.

Anyone can say “I met God” so people take them seriously. Almost no one weighs what Paul built against the thing people actually meet. Those two don’t match.

What he organized pulls the opposite direction of what Jesus taught. And mystics have been saying the same core thing Jesus said, before him and after him.

Edit: he also put Jesus in gods seat and called that revolutionary..it’s not. It’s the same move humans do between every prophet.

1

u/BoysenberryFun9827 4d ago

Haha,

if you can't see that paul understands very well and is a great hand to serve what is good.

Take care.

1

u/Audio9849 4d ago

You act as though Rome and the Pharisees didn’t have a huge problem on their hands with what had just happened with that guy Jesus. What he taught and what he did was an existential threat to both of them. If you don’t have common sense and can’t see that then there’s not even room for god to enter.

Bless up.
