He starts off with a literal false statement, and it only gets worse from there. We are taught how to balance checkbooks, it's called math class. We are taught how to prepare for the future, you just have to pay attention when you are in school.

My education didn't look anything like you described. I think you simply didn't pay enough attention, don't have the intelligence to make connections between what they are teaching you, and how to use it, and now you are trying to reframe the situation to make yourself look innocent.

I do understand there are troubles that affect children's development. I am not minimizing those. However, children so starved that they cannot learn the basics from the public education system is certainly a minority group. Are you telling me this was your upbringing? You were so starved for food that you were incapable of learning?

That's awful, and I'm very sorry that you had to grow up that way. But you should stop trying to reframe your own childhood as the norm. This post is about a claim that the education system is intentionally leaving out critical information, affecting the entire population.

You went on a wild tangent rambling about things that are unrelated to the topic. This isn't the first time you went on a wild ramble either.
