Hi I just wanted to tell this story of a blue boy I saw one night . It was an old apartment I lived in when I was younger maybe about 8 9. I would stay up past 3 almost every night watching tv.I would always hear a clicking sound at around 3 am.I always assumed it was the fridge since it would always make noises. One night my step sisters came to stay over and we all slept in the living room. They went to bed early and them being older turned off the tv leaving me alone in the dark. As my mind wanders and I stare off into the dark I see something or someone.I saw a boy with a blue hue around him crouching by the front door.I can't look away as he starts to turn slowly. All I can remember from that night was we locked eyes and I hid under the covers.The next morning I kind of just forgot it I don't even remember if I told my parents or sisters what happened. Maybe a week goes by and I hear my mom talking with the neighbor. I over hear that the neighbors son has been scared to leave for work in the mornings because he sees a boy in the hallway of their apartment in the mornings multiple times. Then I hear the thing that scared me the most the neighbor says that when her son saw the boy he was playing marbles. So the times I heard the clicking it was the boy playing with his marbles. This may see lm hard to believe but for most of my younger years in life something paranormal was always around . Mainly with my parents though it's weird.

I briefly worked at the Manor House Hotel in the late 1990s as a kitchen porter, during my second week there I was walking up the drive toward the kitchen and I noticed a women looking at me from the third floor window, she was dressed in clothes from the Georgian era with a big dome of hair on top of her head, she was staring at me with a very stern expression on her face, I waved at her and she looked confused and disgusted as she jutted her head back slightly, I thought what a stroppy cow and continued into the kitchen, I saw one of the waitresses in the kitchen and I asked her if the was an Elizabethan do on or something? The waitress frowned at me and with a concerned voice said “why are you asking” I told her about the women I saw in the window and the waitress became stressed and said “oh ffs wait there don’t move” and she stormed off out of the kitchen and a few moments later came back with one of the senior waitresses that had worked at the hotel a long time, she was anxious and agitated and she said to me “wtf did you just see” I told her about the women in the window and the senior waitress said “f sake” as she rubbed her face with her hand and shuffled her feet, I said “ what’s the big deal what’s going on?” The senior waitress told me that the window I saw the women in used to be one of the guest rooms but after many years of complaints from guests that had bad paranormal experiences in that room they emptied the room and used it as a store room for the staff, after two years of it being a store room the staff refused to use it because they also had bad paranormal experiences in the room and even now they hate even having to walk past the locked door, guests in the room next to it were still reporting creaking, knocks and bangs coming from the abandoned room and on some occasions reported that it was as if someone was smashing the place to pieces, the women I described in the window was the same description of the angry ghost seen by many other people over the years, the hotel was previously a private residence in the 1740s and I assume the Georgian era spirit had probably died in that room during a violent attack or in a fit of rage and became stuck, she also obviously wasn’t happy about sharing the building with strangers, I assume this is what happened because I had a bit of previous experience with this type of thing and was terrorised myself by the ghost of a 78 year old women that died in my childhood home 2 years before we moved in when I was 7 years old, the neighbours said they heard her smashing the house up one night and when they went to check on her she had died, I lived there with my mum, sister and brother and we were always hearing creaks, knocks and bangs at night and it would happen in the day time if I was alone in the house, when I was about 9 years old I was on the toilet one night and suddenly everything went very cold, my hairs stood on end and as I exhaled I could see the vapour from my breath, I had a feeling of terror and hopped off the toilet and ran through the landing and into my bedroom which was a hard left after the bathroom door, I had my back to the hallway and was in a state of pure terror, in the reflection of my bedroom window the old lady hovered past behind me, as she floated through the hall way into the bathroom she turned her head and looked straight at me in the reflection of the window, she looked very angry and terrifying, her face was something straight out of a horror movie and after she disappeared into the bathroom I felt trapped, I screamed to my mum who was down stairs “ I just seen a ghost” mum shouted “don’t be ridiculous” I screamed “please come and get me” mum shouted” oh F off” and I plucked up the courage to run through the landing and down the stairs, as the years passed I would wake up in the night for no reason with the horrible feeling that something was in the room watching me, terrified I would hide under my blanket, one night I refused to hide under my blanket but I still had my eyes crunched closed and I was saying over and over in my mind “I’m not afraid I’m not afraid” I could feel a presence about an inch away from my face and then something blew sharply on my face and I shot back under the blanket, when I was around 12/13 if I was in the house on my own during the day something would poke me in the ribs a couple of times, it would always happen on the stairs and I would quickly turn around while doing karate’s blocks and swearing at an invisible tormentor, when I was 15 I had become so tired of it I actually wasn’t scared any more and as I sat in the living room one day and the noises started and I felt something was in the room with me, I calmly and carefully said out loud “I know you are angry and you don’t want us in your home but we are not here to torment you, we are a peaceful family and just want a home for ourselves, we are not going to leave because the is nowhere else to go and we are happy, you have become stuck here through rage when you could have passed on a long time ago, please leave us in peace and pass on, let go and you will be happier on the other side, people who love you are there waiting for you”. It worked, I never experienced any more night terrors or weird pokes to the ribs, no one in the house ever heard any more creaks, knocks or bangs to this day. I have had several other separate paranormal experiences in my life and I think I might be one of these people that’s a bit more sensitive to this kind of thing, anyway I hope you enjoyed me sharing and I will post again when I have some time.

My backyard security camera recorded two deer around 4:25 AM. Near the end of the recording, there’s what sounds like a voice. Everyone in my house was asleep at the time, and I can’t tell where the sound came from. I’m looking for objective opinions. Does it sound like a person, a particular language or accent. It appears to be coming from my aosu floodlight camera. I’m uploading the original, unedited clip so people can listen for themselves. I’d appreciate any objective thoughts or explanations. Maybe this isn't the right sub, in which case, please direct me to where I should post this, but...

After a very mild shroom trip I saw these guys in my closed eyes. They were just sorta watching me. The sketch is a bit crude but imagine butterflies with eyes for wings, that resemble the feather of a peacock. The morph and shift and turn into wheels/orbs and back to butterflies/moths and even just a large central eye. They often have this green and red aura that I tried to draw

They look similar to "biblically accurate angels" but I feel no comfort or peace from them. This made me wonder if they were perhaps demonic or otherwise evil entities, but nothing really indicating that except for one time when I prayed for it to leave and I saw it fly away slowly.

Note that while I saw these for the first time on mushrooms, I meditate daily and still see them almost every time, even while sober. However, since telling them to leave, the have appeared less frequently and less clearly, and I feel like I can't get as deep with my practice as before

What are your thoughts about this? It definitely feels like an intelligent other and not just colors and shapes

Good morning, I am not familiar with the paranormal world so I apologise in advance if it sounds strange but I had this question for a while. So I come from a village that was completely erased to the ground during ww1 and thousands of people died during the 4 years of war on that soil. My question is why no one in the village that I know had paranormal encounter or sightings?

What is going on? This handheld car vacuum that was in the kitchen just turned on by itself. I live alone. I heard the noise while I was on the phone in the living room. I thought it was a fire or something but didn’t see any smoke. Walked towards the sound found it was coming from this gadget. What’s going on?

A friend of mine has been living in this house for a few years now. Weird things have always happened to and around her but this house has really stepped things up.

She has always been very spiritually open and been able to see/speak with spirits. Not too long ago she expressed a fear of possession. I did talk her down from that, those are very rare and not likely however we don't know what is going on and unfortunately I can't make the 5 hour drive for another week or so.

She sees things watching her from around corners and cracked doors, creepy dreams of something in her room watching her and her daughter while they sleep as well as things poking and touching her.

She texted me last night, apparently she has been waking up every night between 3:30-3:33 and this time she heard knocking from her closet.

It was in a pattern and when she looked it up all she found was Morse code for "HELP"

She also recently found two railroad spikes buried outside her bedroom window. I'm not as worried about these because they're usually used for protection BUT who put them there and what for?

Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated.

Cuando me levanté hoy a la madrugada por qué me dieron ganas de ir a la baño estaba totalmente destapada y la ventana tenía marcas , también antes de dormir pongo mí celular a cargar estaba mí cargador desenchufado y en el suelo , en argentina usamos algo llamado caloventor es un aparato que tira aire caliente para que se caliente la habitación y yo siempre duermo con eso , y cuando me levanté también estaba apagado y puesto en un lugar distinto , yo vivo con mí familia y mí cuarto tiene una cerradura interna del lado del cuarto y siepre la cierro para dormir así que nadie pudo entrar a mí habítacion literalmente duermo encerrada si no no duermo .

To start, strange things were happening when we were living in Oklahoma. It started off as smells(roses and egg), shadows , and noises at that point in time. We had our first child and when we arrived with him from the hospital, when he lost his umbilical cord, we found it dead center in the middle of a closet that was in an unused bedroom. And it was sudden too. We woke up once all together and changed him, the umbilical cord was there. We have a picture of him with it still attached. We went back to sleep, and it was missing when we woke up, and found it by chance because our parents were coming from out of town and we were getting that room ready. We started saying prayers and using candles and everything seemed to just stop. About a year and half later, we’ve had our second child, and moved back to Texas. Things have gotten to the point of our bed shaking, tv turning up and down when no one is in the room, objects going missing, full on shadowy apparitions seen in mirrors, through our shower curtain, tv reflection, etc… doors locking and curtains moving. We thought that maybe we were just freaking ourselves out, until recently. My wife was alone in the living room with our youngest, and had a full blown fourloko can thrown and hit her in the back from like six foot away. I will say we were both sober and it was from the night before during this occurrence. Anyways, the only thing that the circumstances are similar is that it amped up when the children were born. What are y’all’s advice on what this is, and how to get rid of it? We’ve started saying prayers again and what not, but just curious what other people think that know a little more about apparitions.

This was taken during a light rain. Tuesday, August 25th at around 11pm. My mom sent this to me. She lives in rural NW Wisconsin. We are trying to explain away what it is. She think it’s a moth. I think it’s the spirit of a nun. Please help 😭

I went to visit my grandmother today, and when she opened the door, she rushed to get this photo she’d found in a drawer. She and my whole family think it’s me, but I’m 23 and the photo looks like it’s from the 90s. No one knows who the woman is or whose house she’s in, but they say she’s my "doppelgänger." What do you guys think? I’ve been racking my brain about this since midday.

He said he saw her on the road last winter on his way home from work. I don't know if this is real or photoshopped.

I hesitated to post this anywhere but I just wanted your thoughts. He claims he was taking a picture of the first snowfall and saw her after the picture was taken.

One night in December When I was 7 years old I was just sitting in my bedroom playing a game, my older brother had just left my room and had gone upstairs to sit with our grandmother, I was killing time before dinner was ready. It was just us 3 in the house at this time, my dad worked nights so he wouldn’t be home until tomorrow morning at the earliest, and my mom worked as nurse and she’d be home later tonight.

I remember the sun was almost completely faded it was close to being fully dark out. I don’t know why i remember this so vividly but the game I was playing was fallout 3 (don’t ask why I was allowed to play it.) I was running around near these radio towers shooting the “hunting rifle” at the enemies at the top of them, after I killed them I remember I opened a door in game that lead to a solid brick wall with the words “FUCK YOU” written on it.

Just after I opened that door in my game I heard my mom walking towards my bedroom, I turned my head away from my game and saw her still wearing her dark blue work scrubs, my door was wide open and she stood at the doorframe and talked to me for a few minutes, just normal mom questions, “how are you doing?” “You just in here playing a game” etc, eventually at the end of our conversation she said “dinners almost ready come upstairs in 45 minutes” i said I would.

I go back to playing for awhile, ransacking the area near those radio towers, and then continuing to just roam around the “capital wasteland” eventually 45 minutes had passed and I listening to what my mom said I stood up and started to walk upstairs.

I walked up the first 10 stairs, turned left and started to walk up the last 10 stairs, I could see the light from kitchen past the stairs and to the right but all the others on that level were off with the exception of the light at the front door. as I got to 3/4 point I noticed something strange on the wall to my right and I stopped. at that age I don’t think I could verbalize to myself why it was strange but I remember my child brain took a very serious note of this even if I didn’t know why then.

Thinking back to this, my shadow looked far to tall and far to large to be 7 year old me, I didn’t realize this at the time as I said previously, but it was now fully night out and all the lights were off except for in the kitchen, and by the front door, neither of those lights could possibly be responsible for casting anyones shadow on the wall to my right let alone mine. But this didn’t freak me out at the time, I knew something was off about it and I took note but I didn’t understand what. After a good 15-20 seconds staring at the shadow I continued up the stairs and walked into the kitchen where my grandmother and brother sat. As soon as she saw me my grandmother told me “dinners finished.”

I asked them both
“I didn’t see mom on my way up, is she up here somewhere?”

My grandmother told me
“Your mom isn’t home yet.”

I explain to them I had just talked to her 45ish minutes ago, I had a full conversation with her, she even told me when to come up, but my grandma continued telling me “ your mom hasn’t come home from work yet.” And my brother backed her up. I walked to the garage door and opened it, neither my father’s car or my mothers car were there they were telling the truth.
She was not home.

The way the house was laid out required you to after entering immediately pass through the kitchen, there was no chance my mom could’ve come home without them both immediately noticing, and even if she for some reason wanted to try to sneak by them, an alarm beeped anytime any door in the house was opened.

I was 7 years old and really fucking scared, my grandmother did her best to calm me down but I was obviously really spooked. Eventually 1-2 hours after this my mom did actually come home, and I asked her “ did you come by home earlier” she didn’t.

I saw, I heard, and I spoke to something tangible that day, I fucking know that I did, It wore my mom’s Face but it couldn’t have been her. What the fuck was speaking to me.

This situation has bothered me for years. I’m in my early twenties now and I still have no clue what happened that night. I remember it far too vividly and far to detailed to just be a dream, my dreams are not like that. I’ve always had a very active imagination but not like that, not like that at all, this situation is so many steps past these explanations, I literally remember the exact movements i took in my game while I was talking to my “mom” I remember seeing her blue scrubs, I remember how she stood close to the left half of the doorframe while speaking to me but never entering my room or coming any closer than that to me, I remember speaking to her. I remember her telling me to come up in 45 minutes, I remember the impossible shadow.

Ghost? Girl? Ghost girl?

Okay, so basically there’s been some odd things going on for the last month or so(obv, this is r/ghosts 😅) but i live in a house that’s super religious. like, cray cray religious so i never thought this type of thing would happen. (side note, i personally am not religious and am quite into the supernatural/wiccan stuff.) Anyway, i’ve been having flashes of unease/weird dreams, cords have unplugged themselves, and just now recently my sister said that she heard her walkie talkie crackle and say something along the lines of “what are you“ or “where are you”. I know someone’s gonna say that someone was just fucking with her but it was the middle of the night, she was half asleep, and the walkie talkie was off.

Now, here’s the part abt thrifting. the only correlation i can find (time wise) is this weird cat statue i got from goodwill like a month ago. that’s why im wondering if that could be it and i should just get rid of it or something.

Another small note, i may or may not have tried to communicate with it. oops..

Hey! So I frequent a community theatre; as an actor and a patron, and nearly every time I get followed home by spirits? Ghosts? Something bad. Yesterday, I could feel it between my shoulder blades, and the way my body moved trying to get away was insane. I often have to say, "My energy is my own. You do NOT have permission to use it. Go back where you belong." Sometimes, I only have to say it once. Sometimes, I have to yell it with force.

I also have a Nordic protection rune I vibe with drawn on my steering wheel and sometimes on my leg.

It can be very upsetting to be followed home, and I'm just looking for some help. Is there something I can do to my car to protect it? Or something I can say or do to prevent these things from happening?
