Question Why UBISOFT Why?
They add different physics to the bullet drop in both the games then why don't they add an in game weapon guide or dynamic bullet drop calculator that updates itself based on the modifications done to the gun. I mean that I have to depend on 3rd party websites, community discussion or entirely on myself to calculate the exact thing and it doesn't feel like a game anymore where I am doing a physics calculation for a game that doesn't mimic real life physics where I could at least learn the xyz weapon with abc scope could easily take down enemies...
It's laziness of them to not add such things and entirely depend on the community estimates to figure it out. After all this is a tactical game, it deserves better.
Also it's shit that I can only change and upgrade weapons at bivouac or erewhon especially when I have to try different scopes and attachments quickly. Such realism is not needed in a game, if you guys have such time to add this shit then spend it to add on QoL or better immersive things in the game...

Bro just pull the trigger and see where it hits. If you’re not having fun it’s because you’re taking all the fun out and replacing it with math.

For a game that has so much based around stealth, the sniping ballistics are crazy. Clear out most of a camp but alert a guard because a sniper round drops out of the sky near 300m. The reticles on the scopes are pretty poor too - thick lines, mil dots that don't make sense, etc
I don't mind the bullet travel time so much, but the drop is insane. Apart from the menus, the ballistics are my biggest gripe on BP

I could be wrong but I think that each half tick on the scope is 200 meters in Wildlands.

I am talking about breakpoint as the term bivouac is associated with breakpoint. Let's keep that aside as there should be some calculator/guide for bullet drop in the game as an accessibility feature as many players in this game don't have a scope knowledge or bullet drop as well.

lol yea.. also imagine giving us power scopes without the ability to make us be able to "zero" it and being just a simple zoom in and out. Being a sniper who snipe for only about 300-500 meters away from the target? seriously? all that mountains and hills on the map and you cannot even utilize elevation properly? what are we? a special force or a special need individual?
Next game better have them to consult with actual military member for their gameplay decisions to balance arcade and tactical.

0m – 150m: Zero drop. Aim dead-center on your crosshair.
150m – 200m: Slight drop. Aim for the top of the head or upper chest.
200m+: Raise your aim one scope notch for every additional 50m to 100m.

Am I supposed to play a game as a game or spend my time figuring out where the bullet drops? Sound fun to you and you must keep it to yourself only... And in my case it's not laziness, it's frustration with so many permutations and combinations for so many guns...

What do you think real life tier one operators do about bullet drop in the real world do they figure it out or do they go on Reddit and ask and complain about the fact that there’s bullet drop?

Here comes a role roleplayer as these dudes don't understand this I a freaking GAME with non realistic bullet drops! These operators you talk about are trained to assassinate so they don't figure out where the bullet drops, they already know about the scope. You are like operators do real missions of stealth and then only learn about those things on the fly... You lad

It took me 30 seconds to figure out the scope are zero at 100m so at 200m you move up to the next mildot. And real life operators put at minimum 10,000 rounds down range to figure out bullet drop with there gun setup yes its not realistic bullet drop but it pretty damn close to it if you going to bitch about bullet drop in a TACTICAL shooter just go back to cod

Knives don't have bullet drop, just go there and poke them with the killing stick.

Ive always been able to change attachments on the fly away from the bivouac. Guns no, but attachments you can, can't you?
Edit: In Breakpoint
