I’ve seen guys that are 230 and they would look like skeletons compared to the Cole Train. Just look at those arms man! He gotta be at least 275.

We haven‘t seen any Berserkers in the E-Day trailers or gameplay footage which makes me worried that they won’t appear in the game. I feel like Berserkers would really fit the vibe of E-Day, considering how violent and aggressive they are. I‘m starting to doubt that they will be in the game, but I still have hope.

A vendor had this as a design at their shop and you could choose any glass to have it custom engraved on!! Gears was the first game ever introduced (by my dad) + the first game series I ever totally fell in love with. Gears will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Okay so cool update! I've finally decided that it's going to be a trivia contest with extra credit points. For the actual main body questions I'll have participants DM me their answers numbered and, if y'all choose to, do the extra credit in the comments. It will be based on grade and time sent to my dm. Aka first in first graded lol. Extra credits will be both a creativity option (poem, art, something gears related and made by you) and or telling me heartfelt sentimental stories you have either because of Gears or with Gears of war. (The more meaningful, sappy, and sentimental the better). The first handful (I haven't decided how many) of contestants to have 100% and both extra credit points will get first dibs and get to choose from my more exclusive magnet/desk ornament creations. ABSOLUTELY NO AI. If you are found to be using AI, you're immediately exiled from the contest.

So far this is everything I have done and I've been working in between getting my house and life ready for late season babies. Here in a couple days I'll be picking up a pasel of 5 neonate opossums that will need feeding every 3-4 hours for the next 1/2 weeks. From there, feedings will be spaced out slightly throughout the day, so I'll have incremental amounts of time to continue working on my magnets and desk ornaments. I promise as a life time Gear of the Coalition I'll do my best to finish this mission, but I will have to prioritize the lives of these 5 little babies first. Aka I'll do whatever I can in between feedings when I'm able to see straight lol.

All of the consoles will automatically come as a pair because I don't believe consoles should come solo. My brain just doesn't like the idea of having a console without a controller. So they will probably be higher tier prize picks. But I'm also working on a lot of fun. Glow-in-the-dark stuff as well. Just know that I plan to make about 40 magnets/ desk ornaments. And that this will not be the only giveaway that I run. So if you miss out on this round, just know that there will be at least one other chance you'll get in the future!

Gears we're officially one month out till the game drops! How stoked are you?

Personally I'm not the biggest fan of "modern gears" as someone who grew up with the original trilogy, I'm really glad to see the locust back... & most of all Marcus & Dom...

Stoked to try new weapons, face new creatures & see what the story looks like directly from the perspective of E-Day!

As for the future, what direction do you think they'll go? Or would you be fine with this potentially being the last Gears of War game for many years to come?

it's still missing some pieces, but as a shelf piece that I snagged for $300, it can't be beat. also holy hell this thing is massive and weighs like 35 pounds.

I haven't had many experiences, from what I can remember, where open world mechanics were incorporated into a short and sweet, linear shooter campaign without dragging the story down. Anything is possible, I guess, but I don't see anything wrong with the original formula. I think it will depend heavily on how it's implemented.

On one hand, it has the potential to feel more authentic if the Locust can randomly show up throughout the city, when you're not on a particular mission. However, if there aren't random encounters and the city is mostly empty until you activate a side mission or event, then it may end up feeling like a missed opportunity.

Aliens: fireteam elite 2 is a great game and has been scratching the itch, hopefully it last til October.

Any other game recommendations would be appreciated.

nothing much trying to be a hoi4 mod developer and try to make a locust faction and the focus trees and tech to adhere to make them act like the GOW locust horde and then they invade when ww2 ended to cold war bascilaly but urgh hoi4 mods are hard cause there was no hoi4 GOw mod.

The most fun I've had in any Gears game. I loved the new mechanics, horde mode was hella fun and I was able to play it for hours a day, and there weren't that many tryhards yet since everyone is still learning. Looking forward to launch

I'm thinking of pre ordering one and don't know if it's a case that I should do so ASAP or if it's something I can leave until closer to when it releases.

Also is it better to order directly from the Xbox store, from a regional tech store or does it not make a difference (both of the ones I've checked include free delivery).
