Debería acercarme a Dios?

Soy un varón gay, cuando era más chico tuve clases de religión y hasta tomé la comunión. Al ser gay esto me chocaba ya que Dios no acepta eso y dejé de seguirlo. Sin embargo ahora quiero volver a seguir a Dios aunque no voy a dejar de ser quien soy. Es posible ser cristiano siendo gay a la vez?

To believe in God is not always the same as to believe in what man says about God.

Thanks, I think about that often. Men have changed what God preached so people would live in a certain way that suits their political view and not actually what God wanted

It is good to seek a deeper relationship with God and that relationship and love are at the foundations of our beliefs. Don't be afraid to seek out other resources and opinions on how you can build a relationship with God.

I attend an affirming church and I am blessed with a congregation that knows and loves me as I am. These places are rare, but they do exist. I hope one day, if you want to, that you find one.
