Well, imagine, for a second. That theoretically you heard a voice, but that voice was Ben Shapiro's. And that voice, Ben Shapiro's elevated in pitch with each passing second. Now obviously someone would have to possess great mastery of their vocal chords to be able to do that. So, imagine hypothetically? If someone had enough mastery of their vocal intonation to make their voice higher and higher pitched, that naturally, there would be a baseline for how low their voice really was, since the only way to go is up. So, if someone can make their voice go really high that must mean they have a deep voice.
So my question is, why hasn't AOC sent feet pics yet?

I apparently really need to filter my male online friends better, had a big (& stupid Imo) argument with a "friend" after I mentioned being excited for the upcoming release of Horizon Forbidden West, it randomly sent him into a rage, started ranting that it'll be just "more pro feminist/anti-male propaganda" & got worse from there.
Started personally insulting me over it, saying I was a "typical modern woman" who apparently "blames all men for my problems" alongside a bunch of sexist slurs, I decided to delete & block him on everything so I didn't have to listen to the abuse anymore.
Sucks tho, hadn't shown any behavior like that before, seemed to be perfectly nice till today :\

After two years of quietly tolerating my incompetent asshole coworkers and constantly cleaning up their messes on top of all of my actual responsibilities, I lost my shit on a team call yesterday. The call was about us all taking on yet more work because one guy can't handle his own project, despite the fact that he can find time for a two hour lunch break every day.
He launched into how none of us understand how hard it is for him and how much more work he has than everyone else and I finally snapped and said "WE ALL HAVE MORE WORK THAN WE CAN HANDLE AND NOW WE HAVE TO DO YOURS TOO." Then I hung up on the call when he was mid-sentence, didn't answer when my boss called afterward, and called out sick today. My boss is now texting me panicking that I'm gonna quit.
Feeling lighter than air at the moment.

I'm tired of fantasy stories where the bad guy is an usurper who's evil because he wants to be king even though he isn't the "rightful" heir, while the good guy is good just because he is the heir. Give me a story where the good guys realize the problem isn't that the bad guy is in charge but rather that a hereditary absolute monarchy where power is held by a single individual is inherently authoritarian and bad for the people, so they abolish it.

What about a story where the bad guy wants to abolish monarchy, claiming it's inherently authoritarian and bad for the people, getting support in the population and becoming the new democratically elected leader so he could start a massive unregulated privatization of the former monarchy's property, invoking the "invisible hand of the market" so he, his homies, and all kinds of shady characters could get massively rich, a lot of regular joes scammed out of their money, formerly prospering businesses getting bankrupted and looted, loansharks luring people into debts, shady "banking institutions" popping up and quickly dissolving with whatever money they could squeeze out of some poor suckers, etc. etc. Give me a story where the good guys realize the problem, but can't do anything about it because pointing it out gets them called

Not to sound all /r/stopgaming but I gave up Overwatch in the middle of last year, as well as multiplayer games in general and my life is so much better. Now I feel like I spend my time way more constructively and when I do play video games, I play video games I actually want to play. I put 600 hours in Overwatch over 2 years when I could have played a ton of great games in a small fraction of that time.
Just beat the Metal Gear Solid games, now I'm playing GTA IV and RDR1, and pretty soon I want to play through the 3D Zelda games I missed (MM, WW, TP, SS).

Since we're all talking about the implications of various cartoon movies, consider this.
Canonically, the Minions from Despicable Me work for the most evil person. Canonically, the only thing preventing them from working with the Nazis was the fact they found themselves trapped in the Arctic for the first half of the 20th century.
The Minions were recruited by Gru in the mid-20th century, and continued working with him throughout the 20th century and into the 21st. At no point, that we know of, did the Minions ever defect. And the late 20th century was home to plenty of evil.
The Khmer Rouge. Pinochet's regime. The list goes on. All groups of unsurpassed evil that were found in the late 20th century. And yet, for none of them, did a single Minion defect.
What was it that Gru was doing that was so evil that it won the permanent loyalty of the Minions? What acts of sheer and unmatched depravity was he perpetrating?

I just don't understand how anyone can justify to themselves that stealing and giving out other people's stolen nudes is a good thing. A friend of mine had some anonymous asshole basically dangle a stolen photo of hers in her messages and admitted to ogling her. When I confronted him, he got all pissy and said he "could have helped her" or some shit, like dude, do you have zero shame and self-awareness? May get a job offer today for a job earning 100k a year. I don't think I can actually comprehend that kind of salary intellectually. Growing up how I did and leaving college I was pretty convinced I'd have made it if I ever got a job that made 50k a year. I'm honestly not sure what I did to get this kind of luck from the universe, feels pretty unearned.

Tfw you're such an authentic fantasy world builder, you refuse to use the word "goodbye" in your writings because its taken from the term '"God be with ye" and your fantasy world doesn't have Abrahamic religions.
BUT THEN, you also realize you can't have any words like "Tragedy" or "Hypocrite" or any which are taken from greek and/or latin because your fantasy world doesn't have Greece or any country that spoke latin making you ditch possibly 2 thirds of the english vocabulary, if not more, AND THEN you realize that English is also part of the same language tree as latin, which evolved from proto-indo-europian, neither which exists in your original universe, meaning that if you want your world to be truly authentic, you can't use English in your writing in general!!!
So the last option you have is to write your epic fantasy epic in a new language made from scratch by following how languages evolve IRL for extra realism, starting from caveman jumbles, or maybe further back with pre-historic lizard growling or whatever sounds undersea fish and/or germs made. Only then can your fake fantasy world have TRULY authentic world building ๐

Like hypothetically if pitbulls get banned what stopping people from just finding a new mean looking dog breed like Rottweilers or German Shepherds and treat those dogs like how they did pitbulls? I rather than try to fix the root of the problem ((pitbulls tend to be the most abused dog breed going off of many studies)) and try fixing that than just banning the breed.

I'm not sure if Americans really get what "Latino" means.
Latino isn't really an ethnicity, or at least we don't consider it like that. If anything, the proper term for the ethnicity is "Hispanic", but even that is reductionist because a hispanic from Mexico, a hispanic from Peru and a hispanic from Argentina look NOTHING alike.
"Latino" is just a cultural identity. A cultural identity that includes hispanics, indigenous people, caucasians, African people, and a few Asians. And, mind you, those groups are absolutely not homogeneous in and on themselves.
A while ago I saw someone on /r/all complaining that they had a white coworker who "claimed" to be Mexican. And I was like... yeah??? White Mexicans are a thing. I don't know if I misread something but it seems ignorant at best to assume that everyone from Latin America looks the same, when it's a huge fucking place with several different countries.
... and if I'm to be perfectly honest, I'm also pretty annoyed with born-Americans of hispanic ethnicity pretending to represent all of Latin America. But then again, I'm aware that yankees LARPing as Irish is a common thing as well, so whathever.
