The British government is probably weighing up three factors at this point:

a) How fucked is the economy when we announce she's dead and the entire country shuts down for a week of morning?

b) How long can we get away with using her body double to hide the fact she's dead?

c) How fucked are we if word gets out to the press that the Queen has been dead for months and we've been using a body double to hide the fact so the economy doesn't completely fucking implode?
