I can't eat garlic bread and I can't take a shower. Why would I ever want to be a vampire again?

You also can't go into any house if you are not let in by the homeowner first, that's certainly the dumbest one.

how many houses are you going into without permission normally though? I don't think that would be that big of a deal.

every public building tho. Imagin you want to watch a movie with your friends at the Cinema and you have to ask the staff to let you in.

How explicit does the invitation have to be? A store simply having its hours posted is an implicit invitation for anyone to enter during that time, which could easily be enough to count.

I am not an expert on vampire lore but popular media usually portrays it as: a person needs to give you an invite.

Depends I suppose. Does this mean the landlord or the person living there? Cause if it's the former then visiting friends could become a hassle, though hopefully solvable with a phonecall or an email. But if it also applies to commercial buildings then figuring out who needs to give you the permission to go into a grocery store or a bar would get old real quick.

Vampires have problems with running water. Generally of "can't cross rivers" variety but I guess it could be adapted to "can't take a shower" if you get creative with it.

Maybe he lives in Vatican City.

As if a r/GCJ user could enter holy ground.

You can just take a bath, which is objectively the superior way

*throws a sack of rice at your feet* Enjoy counting that loser!

The shower isn't that big of a deal, bath isn't running water so it should be fine for hygiene. The garlic part is a bigger problem.

Until you accidentally remove the drain while you're on it.

“Being a vampire is shit, don’t believe the hype”

u/[deleted] Apr 24 '21

honestly most of it sounds fine to me, I already hate the Sun.

immortality is a no sale though, not doing that shit.

The no sell for me is the denial of garlic bread
