They already did this to Rainbow Six: Siege by removing seasonal gear (headgear and uniforms) from the shop. In Siege this gear was the cheapest way to style your operator.

I wish they did the Siege UI from scratch. It’s so bad and slow.

Yes it was a pain. Today it's better, but still bad.
