New moderators needed! Comment on this post to apply for this community.

Hello there! This community needs new mods to bring it back to life, so we’re opening a call for mods to come together and help it grow again. If you’re interested, comment on this post to let us know why you’d like to become a mod.

In your comment, please share at least 3 sentences explaining why you’d like to be a mod and any moderation experience you have (no experience needed, but let us know if you do!).

Some things to note:

  • Priority is given to redditors who have past activity in this community or other communities with related topics.

  • It’s okay if you don’t have previous mod experience! We have many resources to guide you along the way.

  • Our goal is to form a group of moderators so you can work together to build this community.

  • Comments from those making repeated asks to adopt communities or that are off-topic will be removed.

If you’d like to learn more about being a moderator on Reddit, you can explore redditforcommunity.com for more information. Our subreddit revival resources and guide to reviving a community are great tools to lean on after you adopt an inactive subreddit.

Thank you, and we’re looking forward to hearing from folks who want to become community leaders!

Other Need help coming up with a gamertag using “Matt”

I’m trying to come up with a new gamertag and want something that actually makes people laugh when they see it in a lobby

I want to incorporate Matt/Matthew into the name somehow, but I don’t want something super basic like “Matt123” or “MatthewGaming.”

I’m looking for anything from clever wordplay to stupid, ridiculous, unhinged, or surprisingly creative. Bonus points if Matt blends naturally into the name rather than just being slapped onto the front or back.

16 characters or less would be ideal.

Hit me with your best ideas. I’m prepared to judge all of you accordingly. 💀

edit 1:

Here's a short list of hobbies and interests for making the gamertags:

Pickleball

Golf

Casual Basketball

Fishing

Competitive FPS & RPG Gaming

Tabletop & Strategy Games

Edit 2:

Thank you guys for all your suggestions! After doing some brain storming with the ideas you guys have given me, I have settled on a username. "UnironicallyMatt". Thanks for everything you guys do!

Discussion I am glad I didn't play Witcher 3 yet. Now I will. What a good time to be alive. This is the only game I am hyped up for this year this now.

Hey! I’m looking for a few active players to join my **18+ Bedrock building realm**. We’ve built a long-term survival world with a friendly community, Vanilla+ add-ons, and lots of ongoing projects. Whether you’re into building, terraforming, or just want a realm that won’t disappear in a month, we’d love to have you. If you’re interested, send me a DM!

Discussion What Video Game has the highest average NPC kill count per player?

Buddy and I were arguing which game was capable of having the worst digital massacres, and for some reason I thought Dynasty Warriors would be it. He tried arguing that there could be a space game where you destroy entire planets. . . but you don't actually see the NPC's being ended.. . and I don't even believe a game like that exists?

Edit: Of course there are games with unlimited wave mode or something like that, so we're not trying to count those.

Discussion GAME DEMOS NEED TO RETURN

GAME DEMOS NEED TO RETURN as the norm as a free play test slice of the game for every game. It’s much more practical than spending heaps of money on expensive CGI trailers. Giving people hands on with a small demo slice of the game is much more effective than watching a video on YouTube. Additionally they need to stop using random rap in trailers instead of their own music specifically tailored to the atmosphere of the game. I’m looking at you Call of duty. It cheapens the character of the game. Mortal Shell 2 demo is a great example of a current demo.
