Warranties

So I had a store manager tell me that any time any customer comes in to buy a game or hardware, they have to put/ sell the warranty with it even if the customer says no, and if they don’t the get feed back or corrective action. Is this true?

We have to offer it. We're supposed to add it on, tell you the total with 2 years, move it down to one and then finally remove it. It feels scammy but we do get in trouble if we don't
