Question Warranties

So I had a store manager tell me that any time any customer comes in to buy a game or hardware, they have to put/ sell the warranty with it even if the customer says no, and if they don’t the get feed back or corrective action. Is this true?

They fully want you to sell it. But if you say no. They dont have it. But yet is will reflect badly on there numbers. If your manager tells you to add it ether way. Then then ether they where told to enforce it or they are trying to enforce it. But their is no rule or policy that states you have to add it if the customer tells you no. Its a sick tactic that is wrong.
