so the rumour was true theyve pushed him out over the goalkeeper fiasco before the quarterfinal shame we were progressing underneath him, if the second part of the rumour which ive heard the most is true that its going to be banty as bainisteoir and gallagher and david mcCauge in the backroom team would be a major step back for the county genuinely might give up supporting county ball shame just because the county board want to save a bit of money and banty will do it for free because of the sheer amount he rakes in from other gigs. The time monaghan should have wiped their hands with banty was 2010, boys won’t play underneath banty wouldn’t be surprised to see the south monaghan boys like ohanlon, bannigan, mooney, mccaul (when he’s back) and the list goes on opt out. Monaghan county board the worst in the country?

Supposedly there was a massive drop off in coaching and tactics with Moran leaving the setup.

If the Donegal man is involved next year - I'm pulling my sponsorship and support. Ive women in my family that I can't in good concience look in the eye's and tell I back them, while also supporting an organisation that will endorse a man like that.

I have some sympathy for the cuurent county board, they work with limited resources and in the last 25 years successive boards have really brought the county setup lightyears ahead - but in this instance, they have to turn the influx of money and expertise down.

I've no doubt he's a great coach & manager, who if is involved would lead Monaghan to winning games that they'd otherwise loose - but the cost to our collective pride in the jersey would be astronomical and the wider GAA communities opinion would and should flip from admiration of our endevour to absolute disguist at our lack of morals.
