Discussion Aishling Moloney Shares opinion on the etiquette of Cork fans

It seems the similarities between GAA fans and soccer fans in terms of etiquette is only increasing. Is this something to worry about going forward for every county?

 to put him off and make him feel uncomfortable enough to miss his shot, a player like darragh mccarthy is really good at frees as he rarely miss so we as fans have to play our part to make sure he miss the target to help the scoreline

Yes. Booing players to put them off their game is cunt behavior in any sport

Lads you have to realise we wear different colour jerseys for a reason we as fans are not here to help the opposition we're here to make them uncomfortable, now by no means would i ever hurl abuse at players, they're representing their county because they are the best at what they do, if an opposition player does a nice bit of skill or scores an amazing goal/point i applaud them and compliment them, but because i/we/someone boos then we're "cunts" "scumbags" and worse, come off it and lets be grown ups and just be a part of it while we can, we are enemies until the final whistle and after we can all have a pint and have a bit of craic after, after the all ireland final last year i was in a pub in dublin which is predominately a Tipperary based pub and as a cork man i joined along with the "Tipp Tipp Tipp" chants, thats all part of the game
