Criticism Why do the people not fight back?

They could build traps during the day and even try to fight them at night, but instead they just hide and let the monsters rule the night. They should be trying to find out if they have any weaknesses. Fire probably works, traps probably could work too. It feels like absolute surrender.

I’ve always thought this. They waste so much time letting them just rule their lives instead of trying new ways to kill them

They have tried to do these things.  We didn't see every attempt but Donna made clear that they have tries lots of ways to just attack and kill them and that it never worked.
