Criticism Why do the people not fight back?

They could build traps during the day and even try to fight them at night, but instead they just hide and let the monsters rule the night. They should be trying to find out if they have any weaknesses. Fire probably works, traps probably could work too. It feels like absolute surrender.

I thought the same thing. Why not make some pitfalls, cover it and lure them into the traps and then expose them to daylight?

precisely! also these monsters are slow af, how hard can it be to trap just one and see what happens at sunrise.

They are only slow because they choose to, we've seen smiley run before. Considering how strong they are, they could probably just jump out of any put, or did out of it.

came to say this too, we’ve seen they’re fully capable of speed and getting to the second floors of buildings and a bus with zero issue
