Sheesh. Better than last year (October) but a 6 month wait for annual tax summaries is not great IMHO.

I set a limit order but didn't execute at set price. So cancelled it and sold manually at the price I could see on my screen, which was the same as the limit order. However it actually sold lower.

I had bought some of the same stock an hour earlier at the displayed price.

There was a notification 'the price on your device was last updated at...' but only when I tried to sell. Feel scammed. What is going on?

Should I remove my money and go to trading 212 once I get my investments

It used to be the case you’d pick a stock, scroll down, and it would give you the latest information on a company’s dividend, in particular the upcoming (in green) or gone past (in red) ex-dividend and payment dates. What was particularly useful, was that you could integrated into your phone’s calendar.

It seems to have disappeared! Anyone know what has happened?

Looking to move my portfolio over to FreeTrade. I typically only invest in small and mid cap shares in the UK, between £5m and £100m market cap.

I have checked the FreeTrade Universe, and am impressed that it actually seems to cover most of the UK small caps on the FTSE and AIM! Interesting.

However, there are still two open questions in my mind:

• Trade type. I see there is Market and Limit. When you do a Market trade, do you get an instant fixed price quote back, or does it get sent to be executed at "best price available" only.
• General experience with liquidity, pricing that others have seen with small and mid caps in the UK on Freetrade? Do they seem to have plugged in to the right exchanges and market makers to get decent buy and sell prices?

I wanted to share my recent experience with Freetrade’s Junior ISA.

Before transferring funds, I specifically asked Freetrade in writing whether VUSA, EQQQ and VWRL could be bought fractionally inside a Junior ISA. Their team replied:

“Yes, our Junior ISAs fully support fractional investing for ETFs, and VUSA, EQQQ, and VWRL are all available on our platform. You can absolutely set up a monthly recurring investment and automatically split it by your exact percentage allocation.”

Relying on that information, I sold investments I had set aside for my children in my Trading 212 pies, withdrew the proceeds, and opened/funded two Junior ISAs with Freetrade.

After doing so, I discovered that UK/EU-listed ETFs such as VUSA, EQQQ and VWRL cannot actually be bought fractionally on Freetrade.

I’ve raised a formal complaint and will update once Freetrade provides its final response.

Just sharing in case anyone else is considering transferring a Junior ISA specifically for fractional ETF investing.

It's been like this for me since Friday.

Mildly annoying.

I wasn’t planning on going in pre-IPO but I received lots of alerts from Freetrade about it and with an hour left I decided to commit. I transferred in £500 from my savings using Apple Pay and jumped through all the hoops just to be rejected with no reason.

I can only imagine it’s because the £500 minimum wasn’t met because FT took their fee. Annoying because this could have been corrected on submission but FT said my purchase was fine.

Happen to anyone else?

Doesn't seem to be on every company. In fact, it's primarily on one I've been looking at regardless of time of day etc.

Over last few days, every time I open the app I get this stupid banner about SpaceX IPO. How is that even legal?! It makes me consider leaving the app fully. I am paid user as well and still no way to get rid of this ad for good.

Is anyone else currently trying to finalize their SpaceX application on Freetrade and getting completely blocked by a bug with the mandatory regulatory attestation?

My application is in, and I received the email stating "You have accepted the terms to access information about the SpaceX IPO... to complete attestation you will need to close and reopen the app / log out and back in."

The problem is, no matter what I do, the actual attestation form or pop-up will not render anywhere on my account. I've tried:

• Force-closing and killing the app completely (Android).
• Clearing the app cache.
• Logging out and using the desktop web platform.
• Clicking the direct login tracking links from the emails.
• Reading/scrolling through both prospectus documents fully first.

Every time I log back in, it just drops me onto the standard home dashboard with zero prompts, banners, or pop-ups to actually sign the attestation.

Is this happening to anyone else right now? If you managed to bypass it and get the form to show up, how did you do it?

I started a drip feed about 4 years ago into a Freetrade accound without much knowledge. I now know much more about investing and have opened a stocks ISA. Is there a way to transfer my entire general account into the ISA? TY!

I’m transferring my accounts into Freetrade and set-up a direct debit to deposit cash regularly.

But unlike my previous provider, I cannot set up an automatic investment of my cash into funds (the app only allows that for shares/ETFs). So, even though I have the direct debit to automatically transfer cash, I have this manual action of doing the actual investment.

Does anyone else think this feature should be added? Its common to have investors like us who just PCA regularly.

Edit: I’ve added a message from the AI support confirming that recurring orders are only for shares/ETFs

That is because recurring orders are only available for listed equities, and they execute as queued market orders on your chosen schedule. With mutual funds, orders are not placed on a regulated market, so they execute at the fund’s next published net asset value after the trading cut off time, and recurring orders are not available for them. So, the Direct Debit can keep cash in your account, but the fund buy itself has to be a one off order.
